Had a drainage issue. BBP came out and fixed my line and said not to use flushable wipes and we should be fine but that we may need to consider replacing the cast iron pipes with new pipes if this continues. 8 or 9 days later we are backed up again they won't warranty the work they do and wish to charge me another 575-600 dollars. If a company won't warranty the work they do go with someone who will like roto rooter. They charge less and warranty the work they do.

We have used Bradley plumbing Heating and AC for a good while now. They ARE the only ones that we will call. The gentleman that work there are the best.

In November I reached out to Bill Bradley Services in search of a second quote on a water line replacement for our rental property. A technician promptly made it out and provided a detailed estimate which included two figures; $10,401 and $15,901. The higher estimate was in the event the pipe ran under the driveway and they had to dig up the driveway for repair. Within a few days my husband and I agreed to move forward with the repair and opted for financing. We were told that to finance, we’d have to get pre approved for the higher amount in the event it was needed. We understood and agreed Once work was started a gas leak was found. Not sure if it was coincidence or if the line was damaged once the digging for the water pipe started. Gas company was called out and it was determined that the gas line would need to be be replaced. Since BBS was already there I asked for a quote to replace the gas line. It was provided, I agreed to it and I was told that it would be completed once the water line was replaced. Moving on, the water line is repaired with no additional digging of the driveway needed. Some concrete on the path was broken but that was factored into the lower cost estimate and they said that would be repaired in 3-4 weeks once the ground settled. Great! Fast forward a couple of days and I realize that the gas line has not been repaired. I call the company and it wasn’t scheduled because the job was marked as complete. I expressed urgency as not having access to gas impacts my tenants. The scheduler said she’d pull the permit and get someone out soon. A couple of days later the gas line is repaired. By early December both the water and gas lines are complete and in good working order. I reach out on January 24th because the ground has settled and we’re ready for the path to be repaired. The scheduler had trouble locating our account but after getting details, she said she’d have the technician call me. He never called. I called several more times over the span of a week with the same result. I finally get told that there were no notes in the system regarding the return to fix the cement but the scheduler was talking to the plumbing department to get a date and would return my call that day guaranteed. The day passed with no return phone call. I called the next morning and was provided with a date. Yesterday, February 7th was the date I was given and they did not show up. To add icing to the cake, Prior to the 24th we noticed we still hadn’t been charged for the service. We thought maybe it was because the path still needed to be completed. Yesterday 2/7/2023 we checked the financing website and saw that on January 24th, the same day that I made the initial call, the charge posted to our account and we were billed the higher amount of $15,901. I immediately called BBS to try and rectify the matter. They took the details of my concern and said that someone would call me back. While I’m overall pleased with the job and the functionality of the repair, I’m dissatisfied with customer service and customer service matters to me. Moving forward I will use a different company for our plumbing needs.

Doing a second update to my review: after all the issues that we had during the install, I was very skeptical to allow BBS to come service the unit based on the maintenance agreement. However, in order to maintain the warranty on the new unit, I did allow BBS to come out to perform its summer maintenance. We had a wonderful experience with the technicians that came to service the unit. They were on time, performed the necessary service and the unit is definitely performing its job! Update to my review.... After writing this review, we had multiple problems with the new unit. It resulted in BBS having to come out multiple times, and even send an expert from Birmingham to find out what the problem was. Ultimately we had to reduce the size of unit, and do a lot of new duct work. Ultimately, it took over 2 weeks to get the new unit "right". Normally, I would not go back and change a review, but given all of the circumstances of the issues we had immediately after my review, I felt that it was my duty to report an update. Further, I will not be using this company for any future needs on the second unit in my house, even though I have a free one year maintenance on the 2nd floor air conditioner that I received at an event hosted by BBS. I felt honesty about the problems we had is important in case my review is a deciding factor of someone looking to use this company. Day of install: We had a three and a half ton Rheem heat pump installed by Bill Bradley. From the initial call to the final installation, the staff and technicians were fabulous. Very professional and courteous, answered any questions that we had, cleaned up completely and with the exception of having a top-of-the-line new heat pump, you would never have known they were here. It's extremely efficient and can't wait to see our electric bill drop dramatically from the older and worn out unit we had before. I strongly recommend this company for any of your heating, cooling and plumbing needs! So impressed with this company we are considering replacing an older unit on our second floor with a new state-of-the-art Rheem product as well. Honestly wish I could have given them more stars than five!

We use Bill Bradley to service the HVAC units at our office! Recently we had a unit quit working – they jumped on the issues with our unit the same day, and their tech was super quick and friendly, fixing everything on the spot!

We had an emergency clog for the inlet to our septic system. They were the only ones that had any available technicians on a Saturday afternoon. David and Gary showed up and went straight to work. They quoted the price upfront and stuck with that price even though it took a little more time than expected. Bill Bradley will be my first call every time. You guys have earned a customer for life.

Had an appointment today between 9 and 10 which gives them leeway in case something comes up and I had five small plumbing jobs for them to do. I rearranged my schedule , I took off from work and when no one was here by 10 o’clock I called and Ashley said “ oh yes we had an emergency so they’ll be out there as soon as they can get out there”; that is not good enough I should’ve gotten a phone call at 9 o’clock or before , if there was an emergency, so I don’t know if it’s a scheduling problem or people not showing up for work, have no idea, but I will look elsewhere. Do not use or you’ll be waiting all day. I might add, I was “ first appointment of the day”. Very unprofessional to leave a customer just hanging. How much trouble is it to make a courtesy phone call if you are truly on an “emergency.”.

I used Bill Bradley for my plumbing services and Blake and Kendale did an exceptional job and I was so pleased with the professionalism that they showed throughout the week while working on my home. They are most definitely the best at what they do and they will be my first calls if I have any other problems with my home they may arise in the future.
