I’ve had this outfit come out many times now and I’ve always been thoroughly satisfied. Isaac specifically, who has come out multiple times, has always been very attentive and detail-oriented. Will continue to call on them for all plumbing and heating needs.

These guys want 100% payment of estimate before even stepping into your home. For me it was 2500 dollars. Like... what? I understand the deposit, but 50% down is more than enough to let both parties feel assured. A lot of time wasted on questions and an estimate before I found this out. I'm going to use another service.

After the technician came and diagnosed the problem I scheduled an appointment for their recommended fix. The day of the appointment I get a call that they hadn't ordered the part and I need to pay for rush shipping to complete the job. I declined. It's a bummer that I had waited on a necessary fix only for them to drop the ball and try to make me pay extra.

First time we used their service was for a simple issue, a zone valve replacement, which went well and we had no complaints. Second time, we lost running water to our house. They quickly sent someone out for diagnostics and charged us, ultimately stating that our well pump was not working and recommended a well company. That evaluation cost a few hundred dollars as I recall. I told them that our well was new and two years old. When I told a friend, a retired plumber, he said that he wanted to look at my set up. He very quickly proved them to be wrong by draining water from the water tank and proving that it refilled from the well pump. Within 20 minutes, he found out that our metal filtration device was clogged. We removed that and water flowed perfectly to the house. I called Anchorage Plumbing and Heating and they were apologetic and actually gave us a partial credit towards the installation of a new water device. We chose the Pentair Pentek Big Blue Filter. They installed it horizontally and told me to prop it up with a 2x2, as shown in my picture. I noticed that whenever I replaced the filter, the O-ring never seemed to fit. When I asked my friend, he said it was the wrong O-ring size and also said that it was installed incorrectly in a horizontal orientation. I brought the O-ring to Alaska Pure Water who confirmed that the O-ring was not the correct size, hence my battles with leaking, and that it had been installed incorrectly and that it was actually not functional in the horizontal orientation. They informed us that our water has not been correctly filtered as a result for the last 1-2 years. My friend helped me fix their installation and I bought a new O-ring that fits, and everything works fine now.

Misdiagnosed the issue and tried to upsell me for a new furnace at more than $6000 when the repair that was actually needed was a new control board and less than an hour of work and total cost $1050. Unethical company. Will not be doing business with them again when they try to take advantage of customers during an emergency.

Highly recommend this company! Isaac showed up right on time. He was very quick to discover what the issue was with our heater. He gave us an estimate of the time it would take and the costs. He finished in a very timely manner and gave us recommendations for the future. Would definitely hire him again!

Our house's boiler was courteous enough to fail in summer. Since my prior HVAC guy had retired, I needed a new one. I called Anchorage Plumbing and Heating based mostly on their shop being nearby. I was told they'd arrive late that afternoon and to expect the emergency labor rate of $240/hr. Everett was at my home in about four hours. He quickly diagnosed a faulty expansion tank and valve and replaced both with new parts from his van. He also performed routine maintenance and said my older boiler probably wouldn't need service again for a couple years. Everett worked for over an hour but only charged me $160 for labor plus $200 for parts. I was really pleased with his professionalism and the final cost. Anchorage Plumbing & Heating gained a repeat customer in me.
