Denali Sewer & Drain Services

I called Denali Sewer and Drain when my sewer service froze. The steam hose became lodged in my service. The technician tied it to his truck to free it but ended up breaking my cleanout and tearing the hose. He drove away, leaving the hose in my sewer. The company didn't offer to help even though I called repeatedly. A full 24 hours later they offered to send someone out but I had already called another contractor. I feel like Denali Sewer and Drain took advantage of me and I hope they don't treat other customers this way. They didn't communicate any of the risks to me and they should have stayed to fix my sewer after they broke the hose.

My kids knocked the cap off my outside cleanout which allowed my main drain line to freeze shut. I originally called out another popular drain service; who after trying to snake the line told me that my main line had separated and or collapsed without running a drain camera into the line to verify the problem. That technician told me that they could have their backhoe over the next day to start digging up the line. I called Denali Sewer & Drain and they sent a technician over with a drain camera system that verified a freeze up problem. After a twenty minute steaming of the line; the system was back in service. (And the cleanout cap was properly reinstalled)

We had our line backup on the weekend... the guy came out and snaked it... less then 72 hours later the problem came back... The second guy who came out was very gracious and apologetic, explaining what the first guy didn't do and what he should have done to resolve the issue in the first place... The fact that Denali Sewer & Drain did not try to double charge us, explained to us what the issue was, and how it should have been resolved in the first place, is the reason I gave them an Excellent rating. It's one thing for someone to make a mistake and not fix the problem... we all make mistakes... But it's refreshing to find a company that's willing to go out of their way to fix the problem correctly once they know all the facts, be apologetic about it, not make up excuses, and go out of their way to make sure your issue is resolved to your satisfaction. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
