We returned home from vacation earlier this month and contacted Action as we found a leak on the exterior of our home. They were prompt with their initial visit in which they identified the general area in which the leak was happening. It was coming from the interior of the home. The repair had to wait until after the area was opened up so they returned the following afternoon. The repair was made. During their initial visit, they presented the option to replumb our home. We decided to proceed due to the age of our home and the current ordeal we were experiencing. Once we agreed, that’s where things began going south. The plumbers took a total of 5 days to replumb the house. We were originally told it would take 2. Every day seemed to alternate with either the plumbers showing up late in the afternoon or they would show up around 11am and have to immediately leave for parts which put them again starting work late. They were here well into the evening, some days not leaving until after 8pm when we needed to get our baby to sleep. The day before work was complete, one of the technicians tried to cap something off with tape and it resulted in water flushing out and into our hall closet. We then had a mitigation company out to ensure the area was completely dried. At the end of their work, we had to advise them they did not work on our exterior hose spigot in our backyard so it was not operational. That was then addressed. We are still waiting for the hose spigot in our front yard to be operational. The way our home was left during and after the work was horrific. We were told at the end of the project a manager would be following up for a final walk through. That has not happened, even with our follow ups over the course of a week and a half now. We continue to follow up with the office who insists they are following up with management. Today we have another issue, the line they put in for our dishwasher was leaking so our cabinetry is soaked. We are now waiting for more technicians to visit and make repairs and then we imagine another mitigation visit. These are just a few of our concerns. We have really tried to remain patient but we are at our wits end with this company and are giving management until the end of the day to contact us before we take further action and file a BBB complaint. Update as of 3/20 At 5:58pm: we just finally received a call from their dispatch telling us they could have a technician by in 2 hours putting their arrival around 8pm to investigate the leak occurring from the dishwasher line that was reported at 1:21pm. We told them that would not work as we have an infant and they said they would have someone by “in the morning” instead. Still have not heard from a manager or a call regarding when they will be out for a walk through.
