Shane came out and gave me everything I needed to make a decision in my situation. He went above and beyond even during the inspection to make sure I was taken care of. Service like this makes me excited to use their company. Can't wait to update with what I'm sure will be very great results.

I had the plumbing company come out (Penguin Air and plumbing) to fix my clogged drains. After receiving a $295 bill just to determine there was a clog, they recommended to do a dig in the front yard to replace a pipe they suspected to be broken due to tree roots. There estimate, $6,289. Insane. I said we should try a snake first. There estimate, $773 total. I suspected I was being taken advantage of. I asked around for a trusted plumber and a friend referred me to Compton Plumbing. They were there in about 45 minutes (bare in mind it was 4pm rush hour time). Paul found the clean out drain which Penguin didn't even look for, cleared the clock with a snake for less then $300 for about 2 hours or so of their work. More then fair. A great deal. I am so pleased with Compton Plumbing that I will only use them from now on. I know I can trust them they are doing the right thing for me (the customer). Thank you so much. You have no idea the stressful day I had starring down a $6k bill. Then to have it resolved at a reasonable price. Finding a trustworthy repairman, be it A/C, plumbing, car mechanic, is very hard to do. I found a trust worthy company in Compton Plumbing.

It takes a lot for me to return a negative review on a small business, as a self-employed person; but this company easily reached that limit. The company was called by the landlord for a multiple drain slow-draining/clog issue. There was a backup in the master shower and kitchen sink, with other drains extremely slow. The first day, the plumber who showed up reeked of cigarette smoke - so much so, that it noticeably smelled in the house even after he left. We had a small toddler in the home, so we were keeping out of the plumber's way. The plumber checked around and chose to do most of the snaking from the bathtub access in the toddler's bathroom. He asked us to stay clear of his machine because it is full of "really nasty bacteria." I asked him a few times if he needed us to do anything. When I looked in the bathroom, he had his machine with power or other cords touching rugs, stool, toddler toilet, cabinet and a mess in the tub itself. Gross. Obviously we were going to have to wash everything the nastiness touched! Then I asked him if I need to move the mesh basket with tub toys out of the way, but he said he already moved it. When he left, there was a mess to clean up of black dirt-looking stuff along his path; but, most disturbing, was the smeared black nasty oily clumpy mess he left ON THE BABY TOYS AND MESH CONTAINER!! He didn't even bother to tell us or apologize. After multiple washes, the mesh carrier is permanently stained with black smears. I called the Plumbing office to complain, and the office girl seemed extremely apologetic, but offered nothing more than apology. The slow drain issue remained, and we had a party planned for just a few days later, so they were called out again and sent the same guy! He was not happy to return, not sure what he did. To be fair, he made it clear that the pipes were really old and clogged, generally; and that it would be a problem continually until something more is addressed. From a strictly plumbing standpoint, he was not horrible. Then, the day of the party - another day later - water started coming out of the dishwasher. The kitchen sink was completely clogged (he continued to ignore the kitchen sink on his previous visits, telling us it was more than that, but wouldn't even try to snake it) and it was pushing into the dishwasher. We had lots of prep/cutting work to do, so I lined the sink with several layers of paper towels to catch any bits, and we put the pineapples on top of the paper towels to begin cutting. The landlord was called and the same plumber came back. He took photos of the sink full of pineapples, and sent to the landlord indicating we are putting that into the garbage disposal! Obviously not!!!! After several years of living in the home, using the plumbing, disposal, etc this was the first time we had ever had problems - and the began gradually over the previous week or so with the slow drains, etc. And the plumber told the landlord it was user error and that we would be charged! I could never recommend this company to anyone. After all that, they still never even offered to replace the toy carrier. They guy is sloppy and careless - no booties, no protecting your personal items - and makes your house smell like smoke.
