I've had Patrick Riley work on 2 projects on my house, first a huge plumbing crisis and later some electrical enhancements. The good: 1. They did the job quickly 2. Everyone was friendly and accommodating to me working from home etc 3. They provided good financing options That said, here's what I was frustrated with: 1. I paid $14k for a crisis plumbing project. I was told ahead of and during the project that my pavers would be put back after the project ended which they didn't do leaving a nasty spot of dirt on the only walkway to my backyard. 2. I was told the clean outs that were installed would be flush with the replaced pavers. I specifically asked because it's the walkway and I was concerned people may trip on them. They're RIGHT outside the 1 door into my backyard along a narrow pathway. They did not do this either and told me as they were leaving to contact a landscaper to fix it. Bruh I just gave you all my money, I don't have any to pay someone else to do the work you said you would. 3. The electrical work, they promised me they would do on a specific day, "even if I need to come do the work myself, we'll make it happen" said the guy I signed the paperwork with. I didn't get a call from anyone from Patrick Riley until the day AFTER we had scheduled the repairs to be done. 4. They did not do the due diligence they needed to vet the electrical project in the first place. When the team showed up to do the work, they told me they'd need to open massive holes in my kitchen ceiling. The cherry on top was that they were not going to be able to repair the holes they would be making, leaving me scrambling because I had not planned on having or fixing massive holes in a primary living area. I thought we figured out a solution within my budget so I let them get started. In the end, I had to pay for materials and spent hours youtubing & buying materials to finish the project myself. 5. The lead guy on the project saved most of the pieces he had to cut out to make my repairs easier later but another worker threw away the piece of my wall leaving me to buy new drywall too. 6. The project involved disconnection of a gas line. These was an electrical project. I said I don't mind if you disconnect it since you will be working on it but I want a plumber to reconnect it so I know its safe. When he requested this from the company they rejected it and told me to put some water & soap on it. This is the one that really set me off. I'm literally paying you thousands of dollars on top of the $14k plumbing project I did with you and you can't send someone to do it right to make sure my house doesn't explode?? Come on. Its a safety issue beyond good customer service. What they did was absolutely unacceptable. 7. Faulty breaker - They installed 2 new AFCI breakers. One was bad within the month. Due to a personal health crisis my family managed it so I'm not sure if it was workmanship, the part, or some other factor but given everything above I was already done and wouldn't have trusted them to resolve the issue. I wanted to like Patrick Riley. Everyone has been very friendly, they helped me with a very nasty plumbing issue, they are proactive in calling me to schedule free checkups on my water heater & AC. But in the end I just ended up feeling disappointed and taken, like I'd overpaid for some shoddy work. The reps do work on commission so realize that is a factor when you're discussing prices - don't rush into a decision and be sure to cross compare to make sure you get the value you want. If I learned anything it's whatever they say they will do, they are over-promising. In my experiences the jobs were left undone and I needed to complete them or pay someone else to come in. Sure, they completed the necessary work but both times after they left my house just looked nasty and I felt sick disappointment.

I have been with Patrick Riley's/Isleys for over 8 years now. And I could not be more pleased with their service, professional way of conducting themselves, and the quality of their Technicians. I would not consider using anyone else. A man named Aaron just left and he was fun, yet efficient and fully knowledgeable. I was proud to have him here. Thank you Patrick Riley for knowing how to find, hire, and keep the best crew I have seen, and so by extension I owe you for the excellent service you continually provide for me. Each season of the Year. My true thanks. Charles Roller

Aaron did a great job! Found things that other companies missed. These things were effecting the performance of my unit. He was very pleasant and friendly. Told me several things I didn't know about the unit and how I should be maintaining it between visits. Showed me pictures and videos of the things that needed attention and explained why and how the fix would improve the performance of the unit. I appreciated all the information and advice. A great job overall πŸ‘

Tech was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, no hard sell on items that were needed. I did sort of surprise him with the need to change RO water filters and he didn't have the right tool to remove the canisters, so we had to schedule another visit to do that. Seems that should have been flagged in their system and then the tech could come prepared knowing what was on the to do list. No big deal, but requires another visit, time, effort, etc. I'll remember to remind them of the filter change next time.

Just had a great experience with Patrick Riley. The technicians were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They came when they said they would and they finished on time. Thank you so much to Greg, Damion, and the entire team!

Johnathon Smith is professional, courteous, and has a lot of patience, and when I asked him questions about the water heaters, he took the time to explain what the water heaters do. I actually felt at ease with him, not pushing the product at me, let me make my own choice without trying to influence me. Thank him for being kind and a gentleman.πŸ™πŸ˜‡

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR GEORGE BRAZIL I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Patrick Riley during the installation of a new AC unit, which cost $17,000. I initially called George Brazil but was told their sister company Patrick Riley was available sooner. Despite the substantial investment, the service was far below what was promised and honestly worse than a McDonald's employee. We started off the day around 7am when Ivan rang my doorbell, upon answering I was given a finger to hold on as he was on the phone asking a buddy to bring him Ibuprofen (for what I can only assume was a hangover as he later laid in my lawn throwing up). This was just the beginning of a series of issues that made the entire process a nightmare. All three technicians entered and exited my house with their shoes on, leaving dirt and debris throughout my home. They were unprofessional and did not know what they were doing. I overheard the technicians discussing their mistakes and expressing uncertainty about how to complete various tasks. Their conversations included phrases like β€œIt’s whatever”, "we can make that work" and β€œYou need to put it on the bulb, the bulb, the bulb. You really gotta start learning these words." reflecting their lack of professionalism and knowledge when it came to installation. The installation, which was supposed to take the length of the work day, stretched to 13 hours and still wasn't completed (and isn't at this point, a week later). They left caulking on my floors and in the garage, without cleaning up or communicating either. They left my bathroom sink dirty and broke the soap dispenser in there, again with no communication. My driveway was a mess the entire time, with the contents of their three vans laid out across my cul-de-sac. I had run to the store to get them electrolytes in addition to the 6+ water bottles they each got, and they were so kind to leave the empty Body Armor bottles I had purchased sitting in the driveway for hours. I received no confirmation paperwork of this transaction (quite a shady business practice imo). They left the customer warranty booklet on a shelf in the garage rather than giving it to me directly and nobody taught me how to use the new thermostat. Additionally, there were white paint marks left all over my garage, driveway, and entryway, which they had admitted to knowing they left after the fact, but no communication was made to me. In the middle of the day, Ivan (who asked for Ibuprofen as he arrived) was found throwing up in my front lawn by my neighbors. No communication was made to me whatsoever, and he continued to touch my property (including my thermostat) with his unwashed hands. I'm a very reasonable person and am able to forgive a lot, but the lack of communication on all fronts is gravely unprofessional. Throughout the job, the technicians took multiple phone calls, some of which included the repeated use of the n-word in front of an underage child. They lied about many aspects of the job and have consistently failed to return my calls, providing excuse after excuse for why the issues have not been resolved. Based on my experience, I strongly advise potential customers to seek alternative providers. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. What was supposed to be a day has turned into over a week with no resolution in sight. The lack of professionalism, respect, and competence demonstrated by Patrick Riley is unacceptable, and I hope my review deters others from making the same mistake. Update: They called to offer me $850 to take my review down, they said "help me help you". $850 off a $17,000 bill isn't much when it cost over a week of my time due to their failures. When I politely declined stating that I felt it would be a disservice to others to not be upfront about what happened, they quickly got angry and flipped it on me saying how I should be grateful because this is a great offer. Shameful company.

We had a tech come by who was really nice but charged us over $700 dollars and didn't fix the problem. Called someone else the next day since our house was up to 86 degrees (my wife was 8 months pregnant) and our unit upstairs had split open, which the tech somehow missed (and yes, he did go up into the attic). He charged us a $100 to apply the adhesive/glue to reattach it, and it has worked every since (2 1/2 years and running).
