I hired this plumbing company with high expectations based on their initial promises and referrals, but the outcome was disappointing. They did a major plumbing job running sewer and main water lines to an extra room. Dan was amazing. Very kind and knowledgeable. Ben….be cautious. As soon as he gets paid he’ll blow you off. Big mistake on my part by trusting him. While the plumbers completed the plumbing work adequately, they took on a drywall and concrete task that they had no business doing. The quality of the drywall work Ben did himself took months to finish and was terrible — uneven, poorly finished, and not at all up to standard. The “patch” stands out and is terrible. It was clear they lacked the expertise for this type of work, and I now need to hire a professional to fix the concrete work they did because Ben has refused to address the issue and this has been going on for 5 months. Ben insisted he contracted out the concrete work but I saw his plumbers mixing it and doing the work themselves. Be careful with the initial estimate for the job because the person on site inspecting what work needed to be done was not the same as the person putting a dollar amount to it, the bid change multiple times throughout the project. I would caution against using this company for anything beyond basic plumbing.

They came out to give us a quote today and were absolutely amazing! For starters, they were able to come out even though we called last minute very close to closing time, and when they were running a little behind they gave us a courtesy call (a very considerate act Ive rarely seen from other companies) Secondly, even though our plumbing couldn't be fixed today (because of us, not them) our technician found a way for us to at least have running water until we could have them come back in a few days. He made sure everything was done safely, we understood everything, and was very kind and considerate of there being elderly people in the house. I would highly recommend this company for their professionalism and genuine consideration for their customers.

Scheduling was very easy and same day, and they were very accommodating for my schedule. Dan the tech was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ben, the owner, came out as well for a bit which was appreciated since I had never met him in person...only spoke on phone. I've had nothing but good experiences and I use them for my commercial plumbing as well. 9/16/24: Unfortunately need to update my review at this point to a 1 star. I initially called for 1 HVAC unit that was not cooling as well as hoped and they came out on a Friday (July 12th) to evaluate it and found nothing wrong except slightly low freon and I was charged ~ $200 to "top it off". During that time, they convinced me to opt into an annual maintenance agreement for my 4 HVAC units and 3 water heaters and would return the next day to do the first PM on the AC units. It turns out that during the course of the routine preventative maintenance on Sat July 13th, the technician (Dan) rendered one of the 4 HVAC units inoperable -- completely functional before the PM and dead afterwards in 106 degree temps. They did not call me about it to explain the issue, but after I called and left messages, Ben the owner texted me that there was an issue with wiring when they were replacing the cover and short circuited a control board that they now had to order and won't be replaced until two days later (Monday), but I wouldn't need to be home to have them do it. On Monday, during my busy day, they sent an invoice for a fan motor for me to approve for ~ $800 whereas the control board was quoted to be ~ $200. I hadn't seen the quote come through on email, but the tech called me while at my house to replace the part they broke and wanted my approval to go ahead. I asked him which part and he said the fan motor which was in the quote. When I said that I was told it was the circuit board the day before he said I was mistaken and it was the fan motor. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous given that they were the ones who broke the part in the first place. I said I would not approve it and wanted the owner to call me since it felt like a bait and switch, but had to get off the phone since I was busy at work. When I got home that day, the unit was working again, but unclear what had been done. Later on the owner texted me and said it was actually the circuit board and not the fan motor that was replaced. Had I not questioned it, they would have gotten away with charging me 4x what the initial quote was, for something I shouldn't have had to pay for in the first place since they were the ones who broke it. I tried several times through phone calls, emails, and texts to reach out to Ben, the owner, to talk it through since I had prior good experiences, but in general was ghosted. I put together a reasonable offer via email for Ben to refund me the portions of the annual PM fee for the work I would no longer let them do since I lost trust. Turned out to be ~ $550 of a $1000 or so annual fee that I was asking for back. However, I was ghosted for all my attempts to have an amicable resolution, and now have to resort to this and now have disputed the charges through my credit card company and will notify the BBB as well as well as the Arizona ROC. All I asked initially was for them to cancel the remainder of the annual PM contract that wasn't utilized given the issues, but instead of just doing that easily and admitting their mistake, I have to waste my time on principle to get it back. What a shame! Gives hardworking and honest HVAC/Plumbing contractors a bad name.

We had an issue with one toilet in a new build house. I made one text to Dan Brimhall and he was very responsive. He came out the next day and fixed the problem in that visit. It is always nice when an appointment is set that they notify you when they are on their way. Everyone has busy schedules and being informed made the repair that much easier for me. Thank you!

Highly recommend 1 800 Plumber Air! Garrett has been out a good amount of times to help with my shower plumbing, which was a bit of a headache but he solved all issues and did a great job. He just came out today because someone swapped the hot and cold water hoses on my washer and dryer and I wasn’t able to get back there to do it myself. They did it for free since I’m an existing customer. They are always on top of things and nice and professional. I will be using them for my upcoming work and all future! Been a huge help solving headaches!

Our water heater conked out unexpectedly and leaked onto the floor in two rooms. I called a friend who had used 1-800-Plumber + Air to find out if he was happy with their work. He told me that they were great and very responsive. Within 30 minutes of calling I received a call back and within the next 20 minutes Garrett showed up. Honestly I was surprised to see someone so soon. He came in and had a new water heater replaced within a couple of hours. Garrett was wonderful, knew what he was doing and got it done! He is a very hard worker and an asset to the company. We had him come back out the following day to fix some of the shut off valves under the sink as they had corroded. So happy my friend recommended this company and I couldn't be more pleased with their service.
