I've been an Orangutan customer since 2020 and have had excellent experiences with multiple members of their staff. I've always had an outstanding scheduling experience with Sherry at Orangutan Home Services. She consistently accommodates my schedule and offers flexibility when plans change. Paige in the parts department truly exemplifies exceptional customer service, understanding the importance of customer relations, and providing her expertise and knowledge to resolve challenges promptly. Reiner (service technician) is incredibly friendly and has an impressive ability to diagnose issues and make everything work like brand new. I'm deeply grateful for the exceptional service provided by the local team here in Phoenix!

Andres & Dylan did an excellent job reviewing our air conditioning unit. They explained thoroughly our maintenance plans and gave suggestions for possible replacements moving forward. They didn’t feel like salesmen just trying to sell more equipment. We’re very honest in regards to the status’s of our unit. They went through several photos of what they saw and explained in full detail everything they saw were either in good or bad condition. We appreciate their service today!

Fast response but downhill from there. We had a leak underneath our kitchen sink. Part of it was to the the pipe connection not being tightened but also due to a faulty garbage disposal that was hooked up to our dishwasher. The Orangutan Home Services rep quoted me $1,000 for the disposal and installation. Three times what my accomplished handyman charges. And I'm sure more than twice what other plumbers charge. Like I said - - fast response time but I caution anyone NEVER to use this company unless you like paying an exorbitant (astronomical - expensive) price. There are many companies like this that provide very fast service with your initial call. But the cure is worse than the disease. ***UPDATE - I had a very experienced person look at the leak and my garbage disposal. Turns out that the seal was off and it had to be adjusted. The person from Orangutan did NOTHING, repeat, NOTHING outside of a visual inspection (didn't even stick his head underneath the kitchen sink.) He also pitched remediation services for a non-existent water problem (old leak had marred the side panel of the kitchen cabinet. Upon further inspection, there was zero evidence of water damage as everywhere underneath the dishwasher was dry as a bone. Then, of course, the $1,000 quote for replacing the garbage disposal. I decided to have it replaced anyway for a cost of $300. This place is a major ripoff and should be zero rated by the Better Business Bureau in my estimation. Just another instance where you can't trust the BBB solely and must look at Google and Yelp reviews in depth.

Rene was an excellent technician that swapped out my garbage disposal in less then an hour. Very friendly professional and hard worker. Would recommend Orangutan to anyone, such great service!

I have a Maintenance+ membership with Orangutan Home Services, which provides regular preventive maintenance for HVAC and plumbing. Overall, I appreciate the membership because it helps identify potential issues before they become major problems. During my most recent plumbing visit, Colin was friendly, thorough, and provided helpful recommendations for addressing some concerns. However, I’ve noticed that the cost to complete these repairs through Orangutan is significantly higher than market averages. One disappointing experience from this visit was with my water heater’s anode rod. I knew it was going bad, so I purchased a new one and planned to replace it myself. Since the preventive maintenance included draining the heater and removing the old rod, I asked if they could install the new one while they were at it. I was surprised when they quoted me $140 just to install it, so I declined, and they reinstalled the old one instead. While I appreciate the convenience and expertise the membership provides, the pricing for additional services feels excessive. It would be great to see more reasonable pricing for existing members who are already investing in regular maintenance.

Collin came by to do a service on our water system. He explained the work that was needed., gave me an estimate which matched my bill and did excellent work. He gave me good advice on how to maintain our system and gave me some directions for the next steps. Collin was excellent and I would recommend him.

Andrew and Dwain were great installers. Courteous and efficient. And when the crane company had issues they quickly got help and advice from the main office. Actually Paige from the main office came on site later to make sure the subcontracted crane company got the job done right! Great Service.
