Zippity Split Plumbing, Drain Cleaning, and Sewer Repair

Tommy and Zack were absolutely incredible. I had a terrible time with a plumber two days ago and Tommy and Zack have earned a long term customer. They seemed to legitimately care about my issue, got to the bottom of a weird issue and quickly got to work. They were professional, friendly and I was happy to ask them to address my house shutoff valve due to their obvious competency. I have several plumbing to dos in my house and will call to ask for them every single time. Amber was also great in assisting the setup of the appointment. I was stuck in a negative water leak situation in one of my bathrooms. I had to turn the main water line off. I contacted another plumbing company originally and they couldn't come for repair for 5 days. It's hard to operate a household without water for five days. Zippity Split came to my rescue. Sheldon and his assistant, Joey were able to come 3 hours earlier than what had been scheduled. They fixed my problem in short time, didn't try and sell me on unnecessary repair, were professional and very nice. Bottom line, I have my water back on. Zippity Split are my heros of the month.

Very impressed with Jeremy! He did a great job on my client’s sewer scope and took time to explain the plumbing in depth then provided quotes accordingly. He was incredibly helpful. The team is also very responsive, even on weekends!

I called Zippity Split Plumbing to get a second opinion on a main sewer line issue I was experiencing after seeing positive comments about them on social media and online reviews. There was a clog in the main sewer line causing a backup. The first company I called (Precision) came out and ran a snake down the line, but they were unable to clear the line even though the snake made it all the way to the septic tank. They then ran a camera down the line from inside the house, but nothing could really be seen as the line was full of water. They ran the line from the outside clean out toward the inside of the house and got to a point where the line appeared blocked. The plumber said that it looked like there may be a partial collapse. He then suggested that the line needed to be repaired with a liner (CIPP) at an estimated cost of $11,000! to include cutting a hole in my painted cement flooring in the bathroom and digging a hole outside. I called Zippity for a second opinion and scheduled an appointment for an estimate for several days later between 8AM-10AM. At 9AM on the day of the appointment Zippity called me and told me that the person scheduled to come out could not make it as they were tied up on an emergency call. They offered to reschedule the appointment for the next day (2PM-4PM). Jeremy arrived at about 4:30PM. He was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I explained the problem I was having, and he ran a camera down the sewer line from the outside clean out and cleared the blockage with the camera by itself (hooray)! Upon viewing the sewer line with the camera, he recommended a descaling to remove rust, sludge and hard water scaling inside the cast iron pipe. He showed me photos and video of the sewer line and later sent them to me via email. Jeremy created a repair estimate with three different options. Descaling, hydrojet and installation of a double two-way clean out (outside) for the sewer line to replace the single 1960’s era cast iron clean out for a cost of $3,480 (I chose this option). It was recommended that the kitchen drain/vent line be replaced and rerouted to alleviate kitchen grease going down the drain where it was thought it currently does for $3,245 (I chose not to do this). The third option was to add two shut off valves and hose bibs where I needed them for $475 (I had them do this option too). Jeremy was able to quickly get me scheduled for this service the next day (Wednesday) between 8AM-10AM, as I was going out of town for a while at the end of the week. The next day Mikey Wood and Zach arrived at 9:45AM. They completed the service and installation of the above options I chose by 4:30PM, after running into a couple issues with removal of the outside cast iron clean out in 103° temps. They ran a camera down the line before and after the descaling, and I was able to watch the viewing screen as they did it. Mikey and Zach did a great job. After they were done, you wouldn’t know that they even dug a large hole outside. They did a great job. I highly recommend Zippity Split Plumbing. I will call them again for any future plumbing issues.

We were impressed with the service provided.The technician provided a thorough explanation of the the repair needed. He offered to camera the line so that he could give an accurate estimate of the services needed. We were provided with three estimates and able to select the one which met our needs. We were also encouraged to continue discussing these options before we made the final decision.

We had two young guys, Austin and Garrison (everyone looks young to me these days) descale our sewer line and install clean outs. They were both very courteous and worked hard to get the job done in a day. Austin answered all my questions politely and patiently. Overall a great experience for us at a good price! If you have sewer problems, give them a call!

We were extremely impressed with this company. The owner, Mark gave us a bid and thoroughly explained the process. His courteous, knowledgeable and efficient team completed the job in two days. It completed solved our main line sewer issues without tearing up our house, at a fraction of the cost of other options. I can’t imagine why anyone would not explore this option.

My elderly grandfather wanted to share the following. "I appreciate the prompt response to an emergency situation. So glad we don't have to worry about the water getting into the house. Sam did a great job. We won't be going anywhere else for our plumbing problems." The above was a speedy response to a broken leaking water heater. Ben and this team also helped us in figuring out how to resolve a slab leak. Even if they can't do it, cement and drywall aren't what plumbers do, they help finding the best solution for your situation.
