We had a bathtub stop draining on us, so I called another rooter company to come out. They ran a camera down the vent and told me the cast iron pipes beneath my slab had disintegrated. Their solution (and that of another plumber that came out) was to jackhammer up my bathroom and re-route the line...for $7,000. I called Ron at PSI, and he and his guys were amazing. First of all, he said the camera showed a clear line all the way to the main. His analysis was that the blockage was in the old, cast iron p-trap, and/or the dirty arm to the 2" line. His guys accessed from the wall in front of the tub, used a small hand jackhammer to chip away and access the p-trap and dirty arm. They replaced the p-trap and a section of the dirty arm, and closed up the access. The tub has never drained better or faster!! No disruption, no mess, and at an extremely reasonable cost! These guys are the best...and the most honest...plumbers in the county!
