We didn't know what was going on beneath our house and I was in traffic and seen a AO DOWD Plumbing truck and I snapped a picture and called them! I set up an appointment with Jason for the next day and then got a text stating that they could come that same day! The two young men that came out were awesome. They found our problem and fixed it the same day under the house at nighttime! I would definitely recommend this small business to everyone! Great customer service from start to end! I've found my plumber after 25 years of being a homeowner. Didn't need anything major -sweat off and replace a spigot/ hose bib along with a toilet fill valve - but Jason and Anthony were straight up and solid. First time I've felt absolutely confident I will call a plumber back for future work. Highly recommend.

A O Dowd Plumbing exceeded our expectations. My initial conversation with Jason made me feel confident that we found the right plumbing company. A O Dowd Plumbing sent a plumber named Anthony to replace our kitchen faucet. Anthony was great. He knew exactly what to do. We now have a new kitchen faucet that works perfectly. We have found A O Dowd Plumbing to be honest and fair, with exemplary integrity. We give A O Dowd Plumbing the highest recommendation.

I mistakenly called another company to unclog my main line. that company was out there for 15 minutes and said they couldn't unclog it and that we need to hydrojet it for $795 and that our pipe might be burst. I dismissed that company and was still required to pay 99 even though they didn't do anything. I called A O Dowd plumbing. They came within an hour and explained every thing. we're 10x more knowledgeable and reassuring. They said they wanted to snake and see first and they said if they couldn't snake it they couldn't charge me. Anthony was out there for 15 minutes and unclogged it instantly. He even ran water for 10 minutes and snaked further in the drain just to make sure. Anthony was amazing and saves us several hundred dollars will use them again! If you are considering them it's an easy yes just do it.

Jason.. you should tell the whole truth about this.. 1st.. when you came out the first time, you said a new burner was between 225 and $250. and you didn't have your gas sniffer with you. You couldn't smell gas too well, something about your nose. 2nd.. there was a total of four visits to my home, you the first three and Anthony the last visit.. 3rd.. I tried calling you twice to see if we could work something out, but you would not answer or reply to my voice mail. 4th.. you never mention in your reply, you telling me at least twice that you would take care of the problem. I know it was a used Burner, and yes, we wanted Hot water right away, but to sell me a used burner for $400 that didn't work correctly even one day.. that's bad business.. especially telling me you would make it right, from the very first visit..

I had Dowd plumbing come and do some repairs on my kitchen sink. They replaced all the pipes underneath and replaced the garbage disposal. They did a phenomenal job and were very clean and professional and informative. I would definitely use them again and recommend them. Top notch team. So many of the companies these days are always trying to upsell and take advantage. Not these guys straight forward and up front and professional. Thanks.

As a small business owner, reliability and being punctual is a rare but precious quality that we seek in vendors and technicians. Needless to say, this year was extremely difficult for small business owners. So when LA County finally allowed our operations to resume we had very short turnaround time. This is when we discovered that our Boiler wasn't functioning properly. I called multiple vendors and specialists, but decided to go with Jason from A O Dowd Plumbing because of the way he went about asking me what the issue and problems I was experiencing in trying to diagnose the situation over the phone. Most other competitors were more interested in making sure you know their rates and how this is considered overtime. As a business owner, I am as skeptical and jaded as they come unfortunately due to the numerous times of let downs, price gauging, and simply dealing with "call centers" than actual technicians. So I took a chance with Jason. Although he had other jobs prior to ours; he understood the urgency of our situation and sympathetic to the fact that we're just a small business barely trying to hang on while LA County wreck havoc with abrupt opening/closing policies. He scheduled our job for the early evening since he knew we needed our boiler to be fixed in order to get opened. He did a great job communicating when he was about to head over outside of LA County and the time frame to expect him. Upon arrival, he diagnosed the situation and presented the potential solutions along with the price quote. I highly recommend Jason because not only was he very professional but he was very transparent in how he was going to present potential solutions in tackling the problem. He did wonders in getting our very old but still solid boiler up and running in a couple hours. He definitely saved the day for us.
