Vern’s Plumbing is gone. Arts Autobody bought it. They have a great reputation.

Vern's plumbing merge with Lee's plumbing I like when their services separated and you had better services I called them I had a plumbing issue they couldn't get to it right away so I had to call a different plumber or handyman to fix my problem they don't have a 24-hour plumber on duty they give you a work order . you can't get to you right away and you would have to wait a couple days when you have an emergency issue in your home you can't wait you need a plumber right away that's why you called them. I prefer a 24-hour plumber to fix my problem. Waiting issue is a bad business deal!

Another service provider I've trusted for years recommended Vern's plumbing to me, when I related that I needed a plumber. I called Vern's for an appointment to repair a leaky spigot attached to the water main to my house. The plumber was efficient, and carefully watched the pipes and valve assembly to assure no further leakage. He also nicely conveyed the details and terms of the work. About two weeks later I called Vern’s plumbing with another unrelated problem that involved an area of wet ground that seemed might be from an underground leak. I had noticed it weeks ago, but had to wait till a few days of dry weather for the plumber to see it. Vern’s again arrived timely for the appointment. The plumber inspected the area, fully explained every possible angle that could cause slight seeping, and recommended that it is not a concern. He kindly took the time to describe what to look for to know if it needs work in the future. Most surprising, since the rain prevented addressing this issue during the previous appointment, they waived the second service-call fee! I am delighted to find a plumber I will call on for any plumbing issue, and glad to recommend Vern’s.

Needed a plumber to repair a leaky water heater on a Saturday. Not a problem for this crew. Darren was punctual and courteous. Explained the scope of the work and the rates up front. Upon repair, Darren encountered another issue and created a temp fix to keep hot water flowing for my family through the weekend until the new part arrives later in the week. Very satisfied with the service and recommend Darren and Vern’s anytime.

The owner's son, Ron, came to the house to scope out our sewer line problem. Paid his fee of $249 at the time, he diagnosed the problem, quoted a price of $250 to take care of it and we scheduled an appointment for 10:00 on the morning of 1-7-20. Got a call that morning that their serviceman was running behind and to expect him around 12 noon. He arrived at 1:00 p.m. Then he proceeded to tell me that he did not bring the proper equipment and we rescheduled for 10:00 a.m. on the 9th. I received a call that morning at 9:15 to say that the service man was on his way over. Normally that would not be a problem but I was on my way to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my wife. Never made it, I turned around and came back home. This time I was presented an invoice for $175 more that the original quote. When I objected, the service man called the shop and then told me that he did not have the proper equipment with him to do the job. This was a scenario that the Three Stooges would have been proud of. I told him to go on to his next job and not bother coming back. I've found that communications among the management and employees at Vern's to be suspect, appointments with them are merely a suggestion and common courtesy non-existent. Ron, if you're reading this, when we first met I told you that our former plumber, one we had depended on for more than 10 years, and passed away in 2019 and that we were looking for a new service provider. At this point, you were replaced before you even began

Won't do business with them again. I hired them to redo the sewer line from the back house to the street of my duplex rental property. Problem was they forgot to re-tie the front house sewer to this new main sewer line. Shortly after the completion of the work, The tenants of the front house complained that their plumbing was backing up. My property managers called another plumbing company to check out the problem. They found it. Verns did not reconnect the sewer line . I called Verns back and they responded to fix the problem. However, I received a $240 bill from the plumbers who found Verns faulty work. I asked Verns to pay the bill. They refused. After numerous calls back to them they said they would compromise and leave $240 as a credit for any future work. I accepted that offer. Low and behold, a year and a half later, I needed another plumber. I called Vern's because of the credit I have with them. Who wouldn't. Guess what, they didn't have any record or documentation regarding the $240 credit, go figure. Not a computer data entry or notes anywhere. They couldn't even find any of my job details or billing information. Erik, the guy who practically runs the place for the owner and is the guy I who negotiated the credit with, would not acknowledge the credit and blamed any lost info on what else? You guessed it, Covid and moving offices during that time period. Don't do business with them. I won't again.

Called Verns Plumbing for a/c duct cleaning back in approx 2012-13. The service crew found interior of the ducting to be disintegrating, so replacing the ducting was only option. Supposedly they replaced all of the ducting at a costly price. A yr later (2014) the a/c unit itself had to be replaced (due to age) and I used another company. Fast forward to 2021 and I'm once again finding internal lining pieces from the ducting on carpet nd furniture. The old ducting had been the original for 35yrs. The "new ducting" barely has crossed 9 yrs and already shows signs of deterioration. Wouldn't use this co again, nor refer anyone to them.

Honest and upfront. Customer oriented and the price was fair. Most companies ive used charge 150+ an hour these guys at 99 an hour and they are on it! Highly recommend to everyone I know. Rod and his new trainee were amazing!
