Funny how emergency repairs are always needed at the most inconvenient time. After celebrating my child’s birthday, and giving them a bath, we noticed a sloshing in the garage while putting things away. Turns out a drain pipe was broken, and water going down the interior wall from the second floor. After determining it was a drain pipe and an initial inspection, we decided to buy the parts and try to DIY. Turns out there was another crack up stream. We cut open the ceiling to find the difficulty to DIY increased. At this point it’s time to reach out to professionals who do this work daily. We hoped to hire local, mind you this was also a Sunday, so we were wary of emergency weekend prices. We posted in our local Facebook group for recommendations and Elmore reached out promptly. We contacted Elmore to get a quote and scheduled them to come out same day. Work was expedient and skilled, as was shared with us Elmore is a newer company, but not new to the industry. The team also noted the mistakes we had made with our initial DIY fix and remedied those. I would 10/10 recommend to all and will be contacting them for our future plumbing needs.

Devin was awesome. He was instrumental in building my brand new ADU from the ground up. He installed a 100 foot sewer lateral, all the underground plumbing, and all the finish plumbing. I decided to replace the galvanized steel water lines in my home after months of finding metal shards in the water faucet aerators, so I started designing a PEX system to replace the old stuff. I started the work but decided I was ready to hire help to finish the project. I learned that PEX A applications are most preferred by plumbers because of the ease of installation and lossless pressure at the fittings, however, I opted for a PEX B application which requires the use of a crimping tool. I obtained 2 bids from other Modesto area licensed plumbers, and Devin was the only licensed plumber that was willing to work with my PEX B design/materials at a fair price. The other plumber refused to use my plans and parts, and the other was willing to use my plans/parts but came in even higher than the other plumber that wanted to buy his own parts. The fact that Devin was willing to do the work proves he is an experienced professional and isn’t afraid to do hard work. Devin’s crew was especially experienced with some of the very difficult pieces of the project. My design used 1-1/4” PEX B piping which is very difficult to work with, especially in tight spaces. His crew worked though that with ease, and was also able to manage working without removing the toilet in a tight space. When the work was finished, Devin walked me through the work he completed with photos, and explained what was done to test the water tightness of it all.
