We had a leaky faucet and called "Oakland Plumbing Experts" to help. I was surprised when the number directed us to a centralized Roto-Rooter line. We were scheduled for technicians to show up between 3-5pm. 5:45pm hit, no one had arrived, and we had evening plans, so we rescheduled for the next day. Ultimately, they were able to fix the leak, but it cost us $700 to replace a shower cartilage, which seemed really high. We also asked for a quote to have a pressure reducer valve and new shut off valve installed. Their quote came in at $1650. We got a second quote this week and were able to get the project done for $600, confirming our suspicions that we were massively overcharged. In short, the work was fine in terms of quality, but it was expensive.
