I called for an estimate and informed them that I had a planned meeting and wouldn’t have a lot of time to talk with the tech. Even so I spent about 15 minutes listening to his pitch. He wanted more info on another estimate and I gave a ball park this is understandable for the to remain competitive. I listened while he continued an indirect up-sale for potentially what they could offer I reminded him that I had to prepare for a meeting and had a little more time to hear his pitch. He said it was important that I hear what he had to say. I indicated I’m a visual learner and ask if he could do the estimate and provide a quote. If I didn’t have more time to listen then he declined to do an estimate and the meeting pleasantly ended. I understand efforts to sell your business and product it was clear the price was going to be higher than the competition. At the end of the day it’s the customers needs not the contractors budget that matters.

I’m so glad Northstar connected me with Bryan, he has been absolutely phenomenal. I had a sudden leak coming through the ceiling and he was able to come out within the hour. He did extensive diagnosing and went above and beyond to get the leak to stop so I could avoid worse water damage. Once he found the source of the problem (chipped toilet tank) he made all the phone calls and was able to get me a new tank for a reasonable installment price. He’s so punctual and attentive to detail, and I felt reassured and taken care of the entire time. I’ve also learned so much about plumbing through his explanations and will be asking for him for any next repairs! And I signed up for Northstar’s coverage plan to make sure I’m set for the future.
