Black Mountain Plumbing was incredibly responsive, very comprehensive in communication, very thorough in their analysis of our home plumbing problem, and very skilled at completing the very complicated plumbing repair.

Update: We had another need for Black Mountain Plumbing yesterday. This time we had Solomon and Leo stop by because one of our toilets had some smells coming from the back… it was an easy fix for them in the end. Sol was really good at explaining what he thought was wrong and how he would fix it. It ended up that he was correct - it was the wax seal that had failed. And per our usual experience, they were really friendly, kind, efficient and left the area they worked on very clean. I WILL say that BMP is more expensive than some other companies, but my husband and I are generally okay with it because they are licensed, and knowledgeable. I like being a me to schedule with them on their website vs having to call, but I’ve never been able to get a next-day service so they seem to fill up quickly… probably because they are really good at their jobs. So calling might be what you have to do for an emergency. —————————————- Robert was so professional, helpful and friendly. My husband and I were very impressed with his knowledge and how much he cared about the detail of his work.

Our experience with Black Mountain Plumbing was stellar! Very friendly and competent service line confirmed the appointment 3 days out but was able to fit us in the same day. The service technician Daniel showed up on time, assessed the situation, explained his plan of attack, and got working. He diligently cleaned and tested the line, cleaned up and explained his findings. Excellent!

Knowledgable, efficient, friendly and neat. Black Mountain Plumbing gave me a better solution than a whole house re pipe when I had a pinhole leak. We are trying a filtration system to save the pipes from further corrosion by San Diego water. They also installed a hot water tank to replace my 15 year old tank (which I had never flushed). They are great at talking through problems to help you find the best solution, then performing quality work on the agreed job.

I have used Black Mountain Plumbing for 20 years. They never disappoint me. Robert is the best and explains everything going on and what is needed. I had Solomon for the first time and he fixed a backed up sewer pipe another plumber could not fix. He was courteous, explained everything and cleaned up! I will definitely be calling them next time I have an issue!

Daniel at Black Mountain Plumbing is our go-to for anything plumbing related. He's replaced shower faucets, utility faucets, toilets, pressure regulators and more in this house that is has some age and piping quirks about it. He knows what he's doing and we trust him completely. And he is just SUCH a pleasant person to have around - genuinely a really good person. Plumbing is an uncomfortable expense, but their costs are fair and his work is quality. Cathy and Brianna are great at getting us on the schedule too. Anytime our neighbors ask for a recommendation for plumbing, we say call Black Mountain and ask for Daniel.

Recently, I’ve been having problems with water pressure at my house. I called Black Mountain plumbing and they sent Daniel West out to address the issue. I found Daniel to be very experience and knowledgeable and he is very articulate and able to explain all that he was doing he diagnosed the problem And ended up putting a new pressure regulator in. Daniel explained everything to me as he was going along he pointed out several other. Inefficiencies in the house is plumbing and gave me appraisals on how much it might cost to repair them. I was very happy with Daniel and I will call upon him to do more work for me
