I've been working with Drain Patrol for 6+ years. As a property manager, I really appreciate how responsive Sarah and the whole Drain Patrol team is (whether I'm calling or emailing them). There are a few particular technicians like Ricky that I know I can always count on and ask for by name. My residents appreciate the great direct communication they get, and I know that once it gets handed off to Drain Patrol I'm not going to have to worry about it. I understand that sometimes things don't go quite as planned. Of the dozens of times I've had Drain Patrol out, there have been a handful when a newer technician was dispatched to take care of an issue and they didn't have the experience necessary. When that has happened, I've reached out and Sarah has gotten things taken care of as quickly as possible. I'm very blunt in my feedback when there's an issue and Sarah takes that feedback without making excuses which is why I continue to work with the team. Nobody at Drain Patrol asked me to post this review, I just figured it was time since they've been taking care of my plumbing needs for so long.

A few days ago, I called to make an appointment for a clogged sink, and they had a technician come out to complete the service within less than 24 hours. I couldn't be home at the time of service, so I left them a key. I expressed my concerns about my cats running out of the apartment and Josh, my technician, took my concerns seriously and made sure the kitties were safe during the service. He gave me constant updates about the service and expressed that he wanted to try and complete the service as quickly as possible so that I wasn't charged an arm and a leg for multiple hours of service. Josh was kind, respectful, and very communicative. It was such a positive and efficient experience. Highly recommend!

Since discovering Drain Patrol, Iβve used them for every plumbing issue. They have always been quick and prices have been fair. Iβve always dealt with Sarah in the office; her customer service is great, responds quickly and is always friendly. Never had an issue with them not showing up, and I always get a courtesy call when theyβre on the way.

This company is extremely unprofessional. I know my landlord uses them as a backup, but they are horrible. They have come to my place a few times, and have done a horrible job, but today they called at 9am stating they would be here sometime today and would call me 30 minutes before they would arrive. They gave me NO time frame. I had to call THEM at 2pm asking if someone would be coming today, and they said "yes. We will call you 30 minutes before hand." I asked what time they closed they said 6. So i said okay. Now, at 530 tonight i called again and asked the same thing, if anyone would be coming. The woman said no, and a lot of their techs called out sick, and were "stuck due to the rain". I checked and in SD there are no floods currently.... but fine - i let her know that i understand that situation, what I DONT understand is why I was the one to contact them to get follow-ups, and to get information. They were NOT going to call me to let me know they weren't coming tonight. This is extremely unprofessional. I spoke to my landlord and told her of the situation in hopes to get our usual plumber here tomorrow, and I am even willing to wait an extra day, just so I can feel comfortable with whoever is coming into my home because these guys? Absolutely not. Do not recommend. I recommend ANYONE ELSE (edited so I'm not breaking "google guidlines") - will repost if this gets removed so everyone is aware of how horrible is company is! Update: they got someone out the next day. Sarah (i think the manager) called me that next morning, and again gave a ton of excuses as to why they couldn't come out the day prior, but I let her know that wasn't the issue. The communication was lacking on their part. I shouldn't have had to followed up with their office on ETA, they should have been contacting ME, and they should have wasted my time, as since they kept saying they were gonna be here - I wasnt able to do many of the errands I needed to run (they didn't provide a window of time, and just said they would call 30 minutes before they showed up, which wouldnt even allow me to go to the grocery store) The person who ended up coming the next day around 12:30PM, he did a great job. He was friendly, kept my space clean, and got things done quickly. While I beleive he was 5 stars, the overall experience and their office service was horrible and I still wouldn't recommend them to anyone. UPDATE (pt. 2) I'm not advertising other companies. I am stating who I use and suggest. That being said, you all wanted me to change my review to a 4-5 star review, which is ABSOLUTELY against googles guidelines. You cannot force me to leave a positive review. My experience was horrible with you all, as were all the other people who have given you all 1 star reviews (there are a good amount). I'd also like to point out your unprofessionalism. I have never been unkind, and instead have stated facts. When on the phone with you all, and on my review. Its sad to see all the negative reviews on your company and see how you all reply in a very defensive manner, rather than trying to save the relationship and offer to try again. Something as simple as "I'm so sorry you were unhappy! We would like the opportunity to learn more from your experience and gain that trust back from you so you can rely on us again!" Goes a LONG way. Name calling, and lying does not work. Removed my additional star so now back to 1. Lastly, I'd like to add that my sink is NOT fixed, and backed up again 2 days ago. When I asked the guy what the issue was he said "normal buildup" but clearly it was more... can't wait to have my normal plummer find out the issue and ACTUALLY fix it for me, something you all failed to do.

The gentleman who came to unclog my toilet was super friendly. However, the woman who handles the tickets/calls is disgustingly rude and unprofessional. We were cancelled on the first day and times were delayed on the second. We were without a toilet for 2 days and her customer service was unsympathetic and disheartening. Find a friendlier and quicker place to give your money to.

Absolutely the most unprofessional company I have used. I scheduled a service three days out and on the day of the service they were not here at the 9-11 window and called to say they would be a little later. I never heard from them until after work hours when they called to say "We can't make it today, do you want to be put on the board for another day" They said they were busy and couldn't do it. I told her I scheduled this three days out and she just kept saying "I understand your frustration", I asked to speak to a supervisor and she put a tech on the phone and I went on to explain things to him and he didn't seem to care at all and then said "I understand your frustration" I asked him did he really and how unprofessional I thought he/they handled this he just sat on the phone and when I said I will no longer use your company because of their track record he said "OK". DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE UNRELIABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
