Master Plumbing and Leak Detection

What has happened to this company! Have used a number of times with great service, reasonable prices which has made me a return customer. But... I recently called to talk to the Supervisor who I have dealt with before and has been a Great customer sales and service person. But when I called the call was routed to the office and I was told he was too busy on a service call to speak with me. So I spoke to a “John” and explained my situation. Needed a Water heater and new shower cartridge. He advised me up front that it was going to be about $2700, little high but I said ok lets get a quote done so I can arrange the install (needed it done and I trusted in Tom the field supervisor). “John” then stated that the water heater (standard 40 gal. gas) was going to be $3900, plus $1600 install, plus $150 hall away of old water heater. How in the hell did we get from 2700 to over 5500!? I informed him I wanted to speak with Tom the supervisor before I confirmed any authorization of a work order, but was never called back! I called three other services and shared my quote and was told straight away that I was being scammed. My three other quotes were 60% lower with no extra other fees involved! What has happened to Master Plumbing? Research on replacement water heater as offered by MP was $700-$800, how the hell do you get to $3900 plus install Plus, Plus, Plus! You have lost a repeat customer and will advise community not to use you.

I am so glad I used Master Plumbing to solve a catastrophic leak in our kitchen wall. The plumber who helped us, Ross, was very professional and efficient. He made himself available on short notice to identify the leak (Friday afternoon) and again, after the demolition, to repair the leak one week later (Saturday AM). He was knowledgeable and explained where and why the pipe failed. The fee was very reasonable. I will use Master Plumbing in the future and recommend this business to people I know.

I was recommended Master Plumbing and Leak Detection by my insurance company when a pin hole leak developed in the wall shared by my two bathrooms. Brandon came out and was able to find exactly where the leak was. Once the abatement was complete and he could get eyes on the pipe, we discussed options going forward. Compared to the other quotes I received, Brandon presented a competitive price, that coupled with the warranty on his work, I chose to go with Master Plumbing. I could not be happier with the work that Brandon and Ricardo have completed on my home. In less than a weeks time, they re-piped nearly my entire house. The work is exceptional and they were extremely professional and respectful of my house. I highly recommend them.

We had a slab leak the week before Christmas. My insurance company contacted your business. Response was fast and on time. The leak was detected and just 2 days before Christmas Eve Tom came out and capped off the area leaking so we would have hot water at the end of the house with the kitchen, laundry and shower. Making us able to have our Christmas Eve Family dinner. I can’t say enough good thing about them and how professional Master Plumbing is. On time, kept us informed and cleaned up after. And then Tom came back and did the rerouting of the pipes. Such amazing service!!!

I had a hot water slab leak & our Insurance Agent sent Master Plumbing. Being in the industry for 15yrs, commercial & residential, in-office & bags-on, & OSHA 30 Certified, I recommend this company. They're excellent in each area from investigation to finishing the job on time & everything in-between. Tom (we love Tom!) mostly worked on my house & Carlos paired with him one day. Their clean work, true knowledge, respect & professional friendly presence is impressive. Trust me when I say it's HARD finding a good Contractor to work with; there's usually something going wrong or about to. This is the first time I'm speaking highly about a Contractor bc Master Plumbing won my vote & recommendation for your residential plumbing needs. Don't ever change MPLD!

We have been using Master Plumbing for years and all were good until this year. We had a leak in the ceiling. Tony came and detected the leak. Gave us the estimate a bit high for replacing a cartridge for the shower. We were OK with it. He came back the next day, couldn't replace the cartridge after he worked at it for sometimes. He then said it's broken, now he has to replace the valve. The cost would be double. He went out for a break, came back and increased $25 more. We called the office and they said the price is what the technician said. The fix was good. But the pricing was very unprofessional. We should have called for another company. Master Plumbing used to give estimate for the job when you called. They didn't do it this time and let the Technician that came to your house to give out the number. We never had to call another plumber for a second estimate. But we will have to from now on.

Called Master Plumbing after getting a very high quote from Anderson plumbing and a few phone calls and emails with no response from Anderson. Was able to come that day. Easy to work with, worked with Roberto and Clay. Took the time to explain the situation and possible solutions. Great work, didn’t have to worry about it or the process. Good communication, punctual, down to earth, just a good set of guys and always able to get a hold of someone in the office. And every time I called the office, got right through, very nice to talk and work with. Would recommend, use again, and found a new regular go to plumber.

Brandon was super kind and did great work! I had called another plumber prior to Master Plumbing and the gentlemen that came out were in and out of my house in less than 10 mins yet gave me little information on the leak and source. Brandon came in and did a very thorough inspection notifying me of how and why the leak was happening and was very efficient.
