Cabrillo Plumbing, Heating & Air

We've hired Cabrillo for several projects in the last few months, including installing a new hot water heater, and entirely new heat pump HVAC system, clearing drains, and redoing piping. Always on time, good communication, friendly, and transparent. I have full confidence in them because you can tell that they take pride in their work, and prioritize the long-term success of their systems without trying to oversell the customer or cut corners and costs.

I had a great experience with Frank, Erick, Javier, and Fernando from Cabrillo. They installed a Mitsubishi heat pump system in my house, replacing an old gas furnace. Throughout the process everyone was easy to deal with, patient, and communicative. Install required outside units going on the roof, coordinating with electricians, new duct work, dampers, and thermostats (4 zones). They showed up on time every day, cleaned up at the end of the day, and did an incredible job. Can't wait to switch over to A/C on the first hot SF day and actually be able to sleep. We have consistently had good experiences with Cabrillo through the years. Matthew came today to help with a much-neglected filter cleaning and was excellent. He was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and took time to answer all questions. He also looked at other issues and provided helpful information. This was a top-notch service call. It is hard to know these days who to call, but I always feel confident calling Cabrillo.

It is a pleasure to write a compliment for work accomplished - in a professional manner and in a timely fashion. The tech, Matthew, was punctual, knowledgeable, thorough, explained everything succinctly, left job area clean and neat, took photos and documented each detail of work anticipated/performed. Daniel Garcia and his team mate (sorry, forgot your name) were here to fix a leaking pipe behind the washing machine. They did that and also replaced the taps and drain. They tested the water pressure regulator and found it to be faulty and replaced it. They were on time, polite, efficient and explained everything to me. It's a tight space to work in, but they did it with minimal disruption. When this first happened, there were no openings until the following day, however, the office staff put me on a list and were able to get me an appointment the day I called.

Our heater stopped working. It was easy to schedule on the phone and we got an appointment on the same day. The communication with the company was great. They alerted me when Matt was on his way and gave me a Bio of him. How cute. Matt arrived right on time. He was excellent - nice, friendly, thorough, and patient with my dog who is a barker. He was able to fix the furnace on the spot. Matt also found a bigger issue with the vent, which turned out to be poorly constructed by our original contractor, and was putting stress on the furnace to cause our problem to begin with. This is to be addressed later and is a headache, but I feel good about the solution presented and continuing to work with Cabrillo.

It is really difficult to express in a review, how much I appreciate the work done and high quality service by the Cabrillo team. Erick and Javier went above and beyond. They worked in a timely manner and were very respectful of our home. I work from home but not once did I get distracted from my job while they did their's. They even got along great with my dogs 😊. If I need any more work done, I will definitely go back to Cabrillo.

Matt came by to check out our old furnace and did such a wonderful assessment! Super knowledgeable, personable and trustworthy. He was really good at explaining things to us in a way that we could understand so we were all on the same page. The company in general was very responsive and communicative. They send a text when the technician is on the way, along with a picture and fun bio. Great people and a great experience all around. Would recommend them to anyone!
