Suzanne is a receptionist at SF Plumbing. She did a great job on the phone with her “How can I make you Smile?” intro being top shelf genuine. Getting the info and setting up a same-day visit was a clear and simple process. Appx 2 hours later Kevin C. the plumber showed up well within their estimated time window. He puts on booties over his shoes and proceeds to give me a quote for 3 things. He was polite, helpful and not at all pushy about doing the work. In the end, due one repair needing the water turned off and me not being able to liaise with my neighbors, I decided to have the process go through the rental management agency. I've lived her 25 years so on the rare need for repair I have just handled it in the past directly. This however, requires some coordination and thus, upon learning of that, I changed the path of this repair. Overall I wholeheartedly recommend this business for it's truly outstanding staff.

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids. Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears. Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger. We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

These guys were great. I called them out initially do to a test only for the Oakland sewer lateral compliance program. My line failed miserably and I ended up hiring them to replace my sewer line instead. They only charged me for the replacement! They were quick efficient and clean. I would do business with them again
