Champion Plumbing

Champion Plumbing has been our go-to plumber for several years now for our home and also for our multi-unit rental property. Both are >100 year-old buildings that have a lot more plumbing needs than we'd choose to have. We have worked with most of Champion's plumbers by now on quite a variety of jobs, including several major ones (underground gas line replacement, main water line replacement, two complex full repipe jobs) as well as more modest projects (hot water heater replacements, replacing hose bibs). If your job is a large one that's going to take several days with more than one plumber, I would suggest asking that their owner Tim take a look and help scope the work and assign the right members of their crew so it can be done efficiently. All plumbers are expensive, but Champion is more reasonable than many, they're professional, and do high quality work. We recommend them highly! (Note: this is an unsolicited review that accurately reflects our experience).

Disappointing Experience with Champion Plumbing . Unresolved Issue, Excessive Time, and Overpriced Service They were hired to clear roots from our sewer line, but the experience was a complete letdown. Despite spending 4 hours on the job, the technician failed to resolve the issue. Our sewer line remains clogged. $200 for an incomplete job is outrageous. Lot of issues- 1. Lack of expertise or equipment to efficiently clear roots. 2. Inadequate communication regarding the complexity of the issue and estimated time. 3. Unfair pricing for incomplete work. Avoid Champion Plumbing unless you're prepared for potential disappointment and excessive costs. Seek alternative plumbing services that prioritize efficiency, effectiveness, and transparency. A different plumber was able to fix our sewer in few mins.

We had called champion plumbing for sewer access. Plumber arrived on time and setup the equipment. They had difficulty in sending the cable towards the sewer side and kept going inside the house. This continued on 1.5hrs while the drain was still clogged. Plumber finally gave up and left us with a clogged drain and asked us to reach out to other plumbers. We called other plumber who was able to unclog the access line within 5 mins.

These gentlemen were very professional and got the job done on a timely fashion at a reasonable cost. I will continue to only use them because their professionalism, respect for people's time, and continuity are very important to each side! Hands down I would highly recommend. Try them, you'll thank yourself later and won't be disappointed.

I manage Union Plaza Apartments, a 36 unit apartment building in Palo Alto. I got several quotes from different plumbing companies that were $20,000-$30,000 MORE than Champion Plumbing to replace our building water heater/boiler system. It has been 3 months since Champion’s installation and the system is flawless. The owner of the company, Tim, is an excellent communicator and his dispatch is efficient and pleasurable. The team of plumbers were always on time, clean, quiet and respectful to our property. They followed every direction I gave them exactly as I requested. The project was completed exactly when and how was promised. Good contractors like Champion are hard to come by these days. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

Amazing Job. I had a Cinco De Mayo EMERGENCY! The shop was flooded. All the toliets and sinks backed up. CHAMPION PLUMBING saved my shop..the holiday..in time fot Tacos. Thanks guys..P.S. Dont flush blue shop towels.
