Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical

I'm very pleased with my experience using Affordable. Initially I called for a service on my tankless water heater. Ultimately the water heater ended up being replaced. Gage P performed the majority of the work at my residence. There were some hiccups due to some DIY that I attempted and Gage not only corrected them but taught me where I fell short so I not only had my problem fixed but I learned what not to do next time. I feel confident if I had a plumbing issue again that these guys would make it right. Gage, Ben, Robbie, Matt, and Brandon are to be commended for their professionalism and their work ethic. I would gladly recommend to anyone on the receiving end of a water heater problem.

I scheduled some home electrical installations. Johnny, who completed them, was very efficient and he called ahead to say he could arrive earlier than the scheduled time which was great! I’ve never had a bad experience with this company and I will happily recommend them to anyone. In my opinion, this is the best such business in town.

Recently I called Affordable to have our furnace serviced, their service team found some severe issues. Knowing it was an old unit I elected to replace it. Their response was fast and a new unit was installed in a couple of days. However the install did not go well, and I was very disappointed. I called Affordable and explained my concerns, they had a technician there the same day. Cory from Affordable actually listened to the issues, and explained how they would fix ALL the issues. Cory made a plan, set an appointment, and followed through with everything he promised. Thank you Cory, J.P. and Reaper for giving us a great experience, and we will call on Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical for any future repairs. .

To whom it may concern: First let me start by saying that we are extremely disappointed on last visit and interaction with your Management. We have done business by replacing furnace and air conditioning but our relationship going forward may not be the same. My wife called to report an issue on our furnace as it is still under warranty, she was assured a tech would inspect at not cost since again is under warranty, the tech showed up on time and started working on the furnace. After a while when he was done he told my wife the cost will be $289.00. We were left speechless as we had understood it would not cost anything to inspect, he proceeded to tell my wife everything looked with the furnace but he did adjust the gas pressure but was not sure if that would fix the issue we called about. In the past before any work is done the tech would explain their findings and ask if we accept the work to be done for the cost is provided, this time however the work was done and not even guaranteed and then were told it would a amount for which we did not have an opportunity to accept or deny. Upon calling management, twice, we were told it is up to the tech to charge to corresponding amount for the cost, however, they would not listen to our concern. We have understood a visit cost would apply, but when we scheduled it to come we were under understanding there was no cost. I will encourage anyone not only ask questions but to make sure the tech know not to do any work prior otherwise you will be in a situation like ours. A rentor called me in a panic because her furnace went out. I was out of town and called Affordable Plumbing, Heat and Electrical. They responded in an hr and the tech called me within another hr to tell me the furnace needed a new ignitor and said it was all finished. The charge was about $750. I was shocked. It felt as though someone reached down my throat and pulled the cash out themselves. I called them back to ask for a breakdown and they told me $269 (roughly) for the service call and $300 in parts... that's still not $750...I called the main office expressed my outrage and pointed out the part they were replacing was less then $30 on Amazon. I texted the tech with the same response. Later they refunded me a little less than half the fee. But not without me threatening to call the better business bureau...Business like this one are price-gouging because they can get away with it. Don't be fooled. Make sure to ask for an itemized price list and shop for the materials and parts beforehand so you know what their mark-up really is.

Garrick was awesome! He came through and inspect our water heater was able to replace it the same day. He was very thorough and efficient and made sure we understood everything that was happening. Thank you so much Garrick!!

Our hot water heater unexpectedly quit working and we called Affordable Plumbing. They quickly scheduled Joseph to come to our home, and he efficiently and professionally diagnosed the issue and fixed it. He was never trying to up-sell us on products or services, but made sure we fully understood everything that was going on and as well as any issues that could come up in the future. Also, from my initial call until the heater was fixed, everyone I communicated with at the company was helpful, friendly, and professional... and they proactively reached out at each step so I was never left wondering what was going on. It was a real pleasure doing business with Affordable Plumbing and I will definitely call them back for our next service needs. Thank you!

I wanted to give this review so future customers are aware before using their service. I recommend getting one or two other estimates prior to using Affordable Plumbing. I called for one of our rentals. The valve below going to the supply line of the toilet leaked and needs a a replacement. It’s just one valve, a 3/8 turn. They quoted me $650. Glad I didn’t use them cause I had it done for $100. The name of the company affordable is very misleading.
