Last night, our hot water heater stopped working after 13 years. I contacted Jorge, who had previously helped me with a plumbing issue. Fortunately, he and his partner Darius were available first thing this morning to replace the water heater. In just 3 1/2 hours, our hot water is now running perfectly! Jorge and Darius did an outstanding job! They were efficient, thorough, quick, and a pleasure to work with. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my plumbing needs. The issue initially arose due to another plumbing service, who unfortunately never returned our calls to address the problem. It was a challenge to find a plumbing service that would not only return our calls, but also make time to diagnose our issue. Fortunately, we came across Lucas Brothers Plumbing. Jorge answered our call, which was a great relief, and promptly scheduled an appointment. Upon arrival, he explained how he could turn our major hot water heater problem into a quick and effortless solution - all in the same day! Within minutes, it was clear that Jorge was highly skilled. He made the entire experience comfortable and reassuring, and we knew we were in safe hands.

as always, patrick was punctual, helpful, honest and saved us a considerable amount of money. he's visited us a couple times and remembered my husband's record collection that was partially damaged in a small flood in our denver home. we've called upon him to replace a kitchen faucet, find the cause of the flood, replace a garbage disposal, and several other plumbing issues over the years. they don't bill us for unnecessary services, completing the work quickly and thoroughly. during his most recent visit, we were bracing ourselves to have to replace our entire water heater. but patrick was truthful in saying that our model was one of the superior ones from years back, and he didn't believe there was any other problem besides the voltage regulator. after testing the regulator and discovering the voltage was about 1/4 of what it should've been, we only had to spend $225 instead of roughly $1,600 to upgrade the heater and all the piping. we appreciate being treated with the old-fashioned denver work ethic, excellent service, friendly staff, and fair practices. we'll definitely be using your services again and have already recommended you to others.

Jorge provided me a quote, assuring me that 'for $350.00, I won't leave until your 2 bathroom tubs are draining properly'. I agreed to this, considering it a reasonable offer. However, when Jorge struggled to solve the problem, he had to call in Marvin, the Senior Technician, for assistance. Marvin arrived and pointed out that each tub had its own drain line, requiring an additional $150.00. I questioned why Jorge did not verify this before giving me the initial price and promising that both lines would be draining. As a HVAC technician myself, I use the same system (Service Titan) that Lucas Brothers Plumbing uses, and I know the importance of conducting a thorough inspection before quoting a price to avoid any unforeseen issues, like the one we encountered. Marvin, however, was understanding and adjusted the total price to $500.00 for both lines. Both issues were resolved and the tubs started draining. While I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, Jorge's lack of experience was evident. But Marvin stepped in, solved the problem, and was transparent about the charges. Another thing worth mentioning is that Marvin was already wearing his booties when he arrived, whereas I had to remind Jorge to put his on. All in all, my experience with Lucas Brothers Plumbing in Denver was positive. Marvin's professional skills and understanding compensated for the initial hiccup.
