I had a sewage backup in my basement! You don’t have much time to look around for a company. This place was top google and could come out same day to take a look. My problem went from a simple clean out to a pipe repair. The simple pipe repair turned into a major pipe repair all the way to the city tap! How amazing it was to have a team that could come out next day and help me through the repair. And each repair bill they apply some of the cost into the next repair. It was the most expensive repair I have had on any house I have ever owned and now I question how honest the company is. They told me not only would everything be repaired but it would be basically like they were never here and they walked me through the whole process. So far they were my nights in shinning armor! As soon as you pay them for the big job communication falls apart. They left the job with a giant hole in my fence my dogs were escaping through and trash and concrete everywhere. I waited days for them to come back and then was told the job was complete? After reviewing the yard it was a disaster. They could have taken my fence apart by taking a couple bolts out but instead they took a saw to my custom iron fence! Concrete edging laying in the yard, part of my fence in the yard, rock not replaced, broken sprinkler pipes, a sink hole under my sidewalk and much more destruction. I called and called for a resolution and believe me after you pay them the big money they have no interest in talking to you. I spoke to the supervisor about the condition my property was left in and was told “we are not a landscaping company, I suggest you find one”. Then they send you the contract you signed and show you that in the fine print you signed and sewage was filling your house it says they can destroy anything on your property without liability. In the end they offered me $300 for my gate that is a $1000 repair bill and offered to move some rock back which they never did. It makes you wonder if the whole process of escalating repairs is a scam and the whole operation is a grift. They are the cheapest rooter company just to get in your house and then watch out!!! Their sales people are fantastic and they know you are in an emergency. As soon as the emergency is over everything starts to become apparent. Sad.

Called twice a week apart trying to get work order records for my house to show in court. I haven't received anything at all, not even a phone call back.

Beware of Rooter Town. They will rip you off. They will pretend they cannot get through your sewer pipes with their rooter. It will seem like they are trying hard but it’s just a scam. Then they will send out another guy (watch out for Austin, he’s the one that ripped me off) They will charge an additional $295 to scope and locate the blockage. Then this guy will try and get through with his rooter and of course fail. Then what this guy did was tell me it would cost $6800 to dig up and replace 7 feet of pipe underground. After saying no many times they price magically went down to $4000. After they did all this work they still said it was blocked and it would be another $37,000 to dig up the street and replace the whole line. Of course that was the end of that. Also understand this company is unlicensed. I looked it up and they let it expire long ago. And they did the work without a permit! I had another company come out and clear the sewer line for $69. Took him like 15 minutes. This is all very true and there’s a lot more to the story. Bottom line, from what my insurance company told me. NEVER use any company with the word Rooter in it and you’ll be fine. You’ve been warned!

Bad business practices, Jordan never came back. I was forced to pay before work started, so unsatisfied. Still waiting for itemized invoice that I asked for. His crew left such a mess of my house.

Scammers. Came out to scope the sewer line. Said they would have to dig and replace a section of line just to get to the problem. Started at 6800, dropped the price to 5500, no guarantees it would fix the issue. Called a real plumber, scoped the line and said we were all good and how to maintain the line. They used high pressure sales tactics to try and scare us into signing. I had to ask him 3 times for the video and never sent a report. Call Aurora Plumbing Company for a real plumber and not a salesman!

Well I fell into the trap of a scam that everyone els is saying the company tried to get them to commit to. Had the company come out with the issue being every drain in my house was backing up, they claimed that the main sewer line was corroded and needed to be replaced, charged me roughly $8000 to do the repair, immediately after the company left I attempted to use the drains in my house, and we'll they didn't work, started backing up and flooded my downstairs bathroom and laundry room. Attempted to get ahold of a manager for a week with no success, only way I was able to get ahold of a manager was when the company called to collect on the bill, when I was finally able to talk to a manager they claimed that it was a separate issue and I was lucky they came out to do a second repair for free. I guess the $8000 repaired that was suggested as the solution to the plumping issues I was experiencing was in fact not the repair needed to solve the problem. Absolutely a scam, please do not use this company for any repairs

I am very disappointed with the customer service and over charges this company were trying to exploit to my 82 year old mother. 7200$ for a 8ft dig up and drainage along with the reinstallation of her toilet. On top of that they wanted anywhere between 15-20,000 to take the drain replacement to the main sewer in the street. I had a second company step in to place the cameras (which took 3 attempts to get from Rooter Town) and of course they disagreed and told us they were fine and not to proceed. I tried numerous attempts to get a receipt, pictures, camera footage etc. to turn into my insurance and finally after we told them about not proceeding on with their work and how disappointed is was and hopefully we could get all our information if they wanted paid, well they sent the bill over within minuets. I hope they fixed the drain outside properly and we will have no issues, but I do feel this was a set up and like the other stories they showed up on a Sunday and had a crew just waiting to dig up a front yard within hours. hmmm seems like this is a reoccurring story line for this company. I'm glad I cut the strings with them. Do your research and pass on this company.

What everyone else is saying about this company is true. This company is a scam and is only out to make money. If you get a sewer line cleaning/video rescope done by them, they will send a “supervisor” to do the video rescope and then the “supervisor” will pitch a ridiculous high priced project (like $5-6k or more) for something that’s ultimately not needed. I even had to call them multiple times to get the video. STAY AWAY!
