Balance Point Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing provided exceptional service, and we couldn’t be more impressed! Cody was incredibly kind, professional, and went above and beyond to help us with a plumbing issue. Not only did he come out twice at no charge, but he also took the time to explain things in a way that was so helpful. He was patient, honest, and truly seemed to care about making sure everything was done right. It’s rare to find someone so generous with their time and expertise. We will absolutely be using Balance Point for any future heating, cooling, or plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

I strongly recommend Balance Point HVAC. I have been a Balance Point customer for many years. They were recommended to me over ten years ago by a plumber at Master Mechanical I met at a yoga class. For years they kept my old boiler going when other companies wouldn’t. I appreciate that. Recently, David and Ryan checked on the boiler and we decided that it wasn’t worth repairing anymore. It lasted fifty three years. Nick their salesman came out and came up with a plan for mini splits instead of another boiler. He is an expert on these things and very thorough. He’s also a very nice hardworking guy. He answered my questions and came up with the best option. He patiently let me hem and haw about such a large investment. He also helped me arrange the financing and talked to the HOA. They have never answered my calls. Once I decided to pull the trigger and squared away the money, a date was quickly set and Anthony and a different Ryan came out and worked for four days on the project. It was much more involved than I had imagined. They are very nice hard working guys. Anthony was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. They also did an exterior vented range hood for me. It was a tricky job and it turned out well. So, I was very happy with them. The electrician, Eric, put a line from the fuse box through the ceiling to the outside. He did excellent work and was neat. I did the painting to match on the exterior. A week or so later I had some questions about a sound I heard late in the night. The first Ryan checked it out and explained it. He also noticed that my toilet tank was loose and told me how to fix it. I took care of it successfully. When I call Balance Point, a person, usually Larry, answers and is friendly and polite. I really appreciate getting a person instead of an automated system. Karen in the office helped me with paperwork and financing. She was very helpful and nice. As for the system itself, I got the best Mitsubishi hyper heats that money can buy. I’ve been using them for some heat. It’s been mild recently. They worked during the cold snap. My room which was always cold before was comfortable. I’m excited about being comfortable when the weather gets really hot. In the past, my place has been miserably hot in the summer. I don’t have any direct experience heating with the mini splits when it’s extremely cold but Excel took my meter, so I’m committed. Maybe I’ll write an update next spring. So, in a nutshell, Balance Point does good work and they are good folks. I didn’t even get a second opinion. That may not be for everyone, but I knew that I was going to go with them even if they weren’t the cheapest. I strongly recommend them. ❤️

I had Ryan B. over to my house yesterday to replace the ancient (1963) expansion tank on my boiler furnace. I am very pleased with his service. He showed up on time and was very courteous. He was respectful of our home and wore shoe booties. He explained what he was doing while my husband curiously watched. I also had planned to replace my equally ancient thermostat. I thought it had stopped working because I wasn't getting any heat upstairs. Ryan was able to determine that I had actually had a bad zone valve. He expertly replaced the zone valve and my thermostat. I am happy to say that everything is working perfectly now.

Unbelievable how happy I am about Balance Point, Nick recommended creative solutions that improved the comfort of my home tenfold, Steven and Ryan installed a new furnace and water heater, they took such care and double checked to ensure my safety, and then Karen in Billing helped me tremendously and was a joy to deal with. They exceeded any expectations and blew me away from start to finish. Can't say enough, and I'm confident they'll take care of any of my HVAC issues in the future. I have been attempting to resolve issues with my mini-split heating installation for over four years. Despite assurances that the system would efficiently and effectively heat my home, it has consistently failed to do so each winter since installation. The numerous service calls and expenses incurred to address the substandard work have been both frustrating and unacceptable. Each time a technician visits, I am charged for the service even though it's their negligence, yet the system remains inadequately repaired. I would 100% not recommend this company to anyone. While I appreciate the friendliness and straightforwardness of the technicians who have serviced my system, the overall follow-through and accountability in resolving the issues with my expensive installation have been severely lacking. Despite their courteous demeanor, the professional standards in addressing and rectifying the persistent problems have not been met.

Nick set up having Dave and Matt come to our house in the canyon/mountains to fix our mini split system. All of these guys were very professional. Dave and Matt diagnosed and fixed the system and worked late to get it working. It was nice to have this level of knowledge and experience! I would highly recommend these guys.
