I had a good experience on the phone, at first, with Mark and his assistant Kacey (not sure of the name spellings). It was about a month ago that I found out my 1980 home with copper pipe has a leak. Mark gave me a quote of $5400, and told me that he thought my main pipe was made of polybutylene. He went and checked it out, and verified it was approximately 56' of main line, copper. I haven't heard since from him. I called and left messages 3 times, plus called his assistant Kacey this last week. I got the loan he originally asked for, and neither have returned my calls. I believe the scope of the project has grown worse, and he doesn't want to accept the job anymore, because it either involves trenching, or the leak is too close to the house, and he doesn't want to be involved with more possible property damage, or, he wants the copper for some alternative business venture, and he won't tell me his agenda . So, he wants to back out, and not be asked to help with anything. If he would've helped when he said he would, plus my offer of more money in case the job was bad, I would have been happy. I qualified for $20,000, and have extra if need be. But, he bailed out. I don't recommend Schra Construction, merely for the fact that they don't return your phone calls.

My wife and I recently sold our home and needed to have septic work done after inspection. Marc was prompt with his estimate and his completion of the work. He did a phenomenal job and was the most reasonably priced out of all the estimates we received. I work in the trades as well and am a stickler to details. I was highly impressed by both his skill and attention to detail. We will always call Marc from now on for our water and sewer needs! Thank you Marc for your great work!

I can't say enough good things about Marc and his outstanding customer service. On Labor Day weekend we thought there might be a water main break on our property. Marc came out 1st thing in the morning, on a holiday, and spent time accurately and correctly diagnosing the problem with the utmost professionalism. Fortuantley for us the leak was a sprinkler and he was honest in his evaluation and suggestion for repair. Throughout, Marc was extremely courteous and prompt in all communications. I highly recommend Marc Schra.

I had a notice from the city saying that I had a "hard leak". I checked and couldn't find any leak. So I called Marc and he said he would come out "free of charge" and help me find it . After checking all the fittings and faucets, Marc found that a toilet was leaking enough to cause the excessive usage but not enough to notice it. He saved me thousands of dollars on what I thought was going to be a main water line repair. I offered to pay him for his time and he said he told me the service call to diagnose the problem was free of charge. Even after offering to buy him dinner he refused to take any compensation because he told me on the phone the service call was "no Charge." Although I didn't need him to "repair" anything, he gave his time and me peace of mind. He is truly a man of his word and I would not hesitate to use him for any of my plumbing needs. A man of Marc's high ethical standards, is one I would trust to do business with. Thanks Marc

Marc recently replaced our main sewer line that had backed up and clogged due to infiltration of tree roots. Another plumbing company had come out and unclogged the initial blockage, and quoted us ~$10,000 to fix the sewer line. Mark did it for under $5,000 and was in my opinion much more knowledgeable on the matter. The other service wanted to line the existing pipe with epoxy to seal it to prevent future root incursion, but Marc informed me that was not a permanent solution as the epoxy will eventually fail and recommended just replacing the pipe (this was also told to me by three other sewer repair companies as well). He said it is about half as expensive, but did tell me it would result in cosmetic damage to my lawn because of the digging. After scheduling the repair he replaced the line in less than two days. We would recommend him to anyone!

Marc replaced my grandmothers sewer line in Windsor after Mr Rooter wanted to take my grandmother for a ride for her money and tearing up her house. Five bibs later of Mr Rooter I reached out further and found Schra Construction. The same day I put that into home advisor he was there. Came in way lower than Mr Rooter with way less hassle. Completed the job in two days. I would recommend Schra Construction over anyone else.

Mark was very informative. Helped me understand, by explaining to me what can be done and what he recommended. The decisions were ultimately up to me. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy and pricing seemed very fair. Worksite was kept clean and orderly. He completed my job promptly.
