Mountain Valley Plumbing and Heating

I would avoid this company if you need to get an estimate for work done. Called mountain valley to set up an appointment to get an estimate and was told that they can come out first thing next week. Morning of I get a call stating that they want a service fee of $59 to come out to give the estimate because the job I needed done is not big enough (roughly a $900 job based on the companies that showed up). To add to that, they would not be able to show up at all on the day of the estimate and it would be another half a week before someone would arrive. This appointment was set up a week ago, why did it take so long to determine that you would not do the job? I fully disclosed the work I wanted done and was told that it was something you would and could do. Luckily there are other good options in the area who were able to get me estimates quickly. I am disappointed that I waited an extra week for this company. Hopefully this helps someone.

I reached out to Steve regarding an issue I was having with my water heater. He responded promptly the same day and set up a time to come out to the house and check it out for me. He also performed additional work and replaced a leaking valve at a reasonable price. He was always great at communicating and willing to work with my schedule. We have used High Country Plumbing twice since we recently moved into an existing home in Windsor. They were able to come replace our water heater and 3 toilets within 1 week after they were contacted. They worked quickly and efficiently and did a nice clean installation. Steve is knowledgeable and has many years of experience as he is 2nd generation plumber. His son works with him and is also knowledgeable. We were so pleased with their work ethic that we again had them come back to install a new kitchen granite sink, faucet, and disposal. Steve and his son were able to replace my tank water heater with a tankless version. They were friendly, very competitive with price, answered all of my questions and did a great job with the install. Even though they had to build a wall to mount the heater they still honored the original quote over the phone. Its hard to find people you can trust but I do trust this company and will use them in the future for any other plumbing needs.

So happy I called High Country Plumbing. Turned out to be a pretty good sized blockage somewhere between the kitchen sink and where it joins the main line. Steve returned my call the same day and was able to get to my house the following day. Price seemed reasonable and in line with other jobs I've had done in the past. Will definitely use them again!

I had talked to Steve about doing some Natural Gas plumbing, and hadn't got around to scheduling an appointment. Steve called and said he could arrive in 30 minutes to do the job.
