Andy Wotton Plumbing and Heating

I love this company! I have called Andy many times for different plumbing repairs and he is always kind, punctual, and upfront with costs. I thought I had a leak and Andy pointed out it was due to a lack of sealant around a water fixture; I was able to make the repair myself. He has replaced water heaters and installed valves and shut offs for me. I highly recommend this company.

My kitchen sink was clogged yesterday. I called Andy Wotton and Szymon arrived at my house in less than an hour. He was very professional and friendly. He fixed the problem quickly. I will use this company for any future plumbing needs. The price is competitive.

They charged us $550 to replace a very small amount of PEX under the sink where the T between the sink and dishwasher supply was leaking. When I called to discuss, the owner cited the cost of shutoff valves. I've purchased plenty over the years. These look like they cost 15 bucks at most, probably closer to 10. (The existing shutoff valves were also not the parts leaking...) He offered a $50 gift card... to his own company. Bold, I have to say. My thing is, if you're going to charge a lot, just own it. Don't feed me some BS about a ten dollar part costing you too much. And don't offer to make it right by "gifting" us the oppurtunity to use your company again. We've owned two houses in West Hartford over the years and we know the prices of things. I get it's cool to take advantage of people who don't understand houses or plumbing and impose the "West Hartford tax" when you can, but honesty and reasonable pricing would have gotten the repeat business from us and avoided this review. Oh well. Everyone has their business strategy I guess.

I stripped my main water shut off valve and was without water on a Sunday. Syzmon called me to assure that he would come by that day to address the issue. He developed a plan and was able to replace my main valve within 30 minutes. Thanks so much for your quality, courteous, and timely service!
