Big Bend Septic Tank Company

Before hurricane Irma came through Tallahasee I had septic back up. No one could come out because of downed trees blocking access to my home. Several other Tallahasee septic companies told me over the phone my problem was most likely my drain fields. A very expensive problem. Not Big Bend Septic! The owner Dennis Grey took time on the phone to explain the septic system to me. Next day his crew Chris and Doug came out and showed and taught me about my system. I knew very little about septic systems. 5 stars because they were very knowledgeable and honest!!! Very fair with prices. I knew I could trust them! Now both my neighbors will hire them as well.

I cannot say enough about Big Bend Septic. They are just exceptional with helping out with an emergency during the afternoon of Christmas Eve. I was in the kitchen preparing dinner in the crockpot and also doing laundry. You know how us women like to multitask around the house. Anyway, I heard a bad gurgling sound coming from the kitchen sink and also from the hall bathroom but didn't pay too much mind to it. When I was finished with the meal prep, I was going to transfer the laundry from the washer to the dryer, however, a flood-filled hallway and hall bathroom stopped me. We found that it was the septic tank that was overfilled. Yuck. We had the tank pumped earlier this year, but having three extra people stay with us for a few months made for more bathroom time, more laundry time....you know the drill. So the tank filled up much quicker than normal. Now to make a long story short, we called a few septic places but being Christmas Eve and them having other emergencies, they couldn't get to us today. We finally called Big Bend Septic and Dennis, the wonderful gentleman who answered the phone, said that they could get to us later today. Oh my gosh, we were ecstatic!! An hour or so later, the fellow was here and pumped the tank all clean. It cost more than usual being an emergency and right before a holiday, but I honestly didn't mind because we needed it pumped ASAP. I am just amazed how quick and nice everyone with the company was to us and how quickly they came to the rescue. I believe they will have our business from now on. Thank you, Big Bend Septic!

Charges 350.00 to pump septic tank and refuses to give customer, a certification saying, Big Bend had pumped septic tank. Why? Because we chose to let another competent company install our new drain field. Filed complaint with DOH!

Our septic system decided to be "full" on a Saturday morning. I called several companies Monday morning and Big Bend came to the rescue by 10am. Very prompt, professional and reasonable company.

2 different companies have come out in the last 18 months and none of them cleaned out our septic tank the way these guys did!!! They gave me solutions NOT more problems and pricing!!! Don't waste your time calling other companies. I truly think the other companies either scathed their responsibility or they just didn't know what they were doing. Ohhh and the price was less and service faster... Out here the next day!!! We can shower tonight!

Called these folks for a pump out. It turned out I had a clog somewhere in the drain line in the home which is not what they were called to diagnose or repair. Although their efforts were unsuccessful, they assisted in trying to break the clog so the drain system operated normally before the left. Service was prompt and prices were favorable. Will use these folks again.

Great service from begining to the end. The guys that came out were friendly and went thru the septic tank inspections with us. They did a great job pumping out the tank and answered all our questions. I would highley recommend them to every body .

They were able to service my property within 24 hours of my initial call. Excellent response time in my opinion. Price was fair. Would recommend and use again.
