I'd like to start this review by saying that Cooper's has always been good to us and always does good work and I'm happy to say that our a/c servicing today was no different. Brad Baggett came and provided the service for us and I don't think we could have had a better member of the team. He was extremely professional and went so far as to wear shoe covers in our home. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He covered all of our options to keep our unit running strong for years to come. We were truly appreciative that he was our tech and would recommend him and this company to anyone that needs a/c work.

I should have listened to the Yelp reviews. Video evidence included. TLDR at the end. I had (actually, still have) a leak under my kitchen sink so plumber 1 came out to fix it. He was kind but ultimately misdiagnosed the issue and did a repair and work that was more costly than what the actual issue ended up being. After he left, we thought the leak would be fixed with 2 new valves being put in, but then next day there was a puddle under the sink from the SAME location, the waterline to the dishwasher. Mind you, I took video of the issue BEFORE plumber 1 came out and the leak source is clearly seen. So, plumber 2 comes out to fix the leak. He says he is the head plumber and looks at the problem area. At this point though the water line is not leaking because I turned the valve to stop the water after I noticed it was still leaking. I did not take video of it while it was leaking after the initial repair though. So, he said there was nothing he could do because no matter what we tried in the ~30-45 mins he was there it would not start leaking again. He said that when it does start up again to take video and that he would come back the next day to fix it. We wanted him to do something while he was there since there could be only one other issue (the water line) but that was not an option so he left. A couple hours go by and the leak is back at it. I send a video and he says that he can’t come back the next day after all and the plumber 1 needs to come back and that would be Monday. That’s disappointing because we feel misled but have no choice to wait, so we do. We schedule it for Wednesday because we have to work, but the person that comes out Wed is HVAC! So, Thursday (today) is when plumber 3 arrives. Which is weird since we were told the original plumber needed to address the issue…anyways plumber 3 is here and after talking to the manager he gives us 2 options. 1 to refund us for the initial service minus the dispatch fee which is about ~$391 back to us and then they leave and our leak is still unresolved OR they could run the new dishwasher line for us “for free”. The leak would be fixed but we get no refund for the extra work that was not needed. I requested to know how much it would cost for the singular service of running a dishwasher line and the manager refused to give us the option of a partial refund and new dishwasher line. It was one or the other, even though I know to run the line initially would have been much less. So the leak remains and I get to wait for a check in the mail for a partial refund (~$391) after I paid nearly $600 for the job. Do not recommend. TLDR: Leak under sink, easy fix but misdiagnosed and a more costly repair was done that did not stop the leak. 3 plumbers and 6 days later the leak is still going strong. The manager offered us to finally fix the leak but give no partial refund OR give a partial refund and not fix the leak. We opted for the partial refund and now still need to find a solution for the leak. Do not recommend.

I recently had used Cooper Heating and Cooling for my HVAC needs. I was beyond impressed by Ryan work ethics and handling my request. He was knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure everything was working properly. I highly recommend Ryan for anyone who needs top-notch HVAC services.

Daniel was on-time, courteous and professional. He took the time to go over all of our options and ensure we had all the information we needed to make an informed decision about our AC system. We are thrilled to work with Coopers plumbing & air for this issue and will continue to turn to them for system maintenance and any other needs that arise.

Tech was Daniel, who did a great job and explained everything when he came for a 1 year assessment of a new AC. I needed about $1k worth of work done but haven’t heard from him or Coopers since Monday. I’ve called and they assured they’d call me back same day but still no call back.

2/13/2025 update: To anyone considering using Cooper's Plumbing & Air after reading my reviews, I am happy to report the problem has been resolved and I believe there will be no further issues concerning the initial installation. I thank the entire crew, who from beginning to end, made sure my concerns would be resolved and I was a satisfied customer. That includes Daren F., Daniel (scheduling), Lisa S. (Customer Reviews Coordinator), and especially the installers, Harrison and Chris Amos. They are an excellent team and took their time to assess and then make the necessary adjustments for the filter as shown in attached photos. Complaining is not something I like to do, but I will give a chance to right things, which I'm thrilled Cooper's did. The reason I didn't give back all five stars is because the initial installers left knowing this would be an issue, and the time it took to get it resolved. I feel the company was genuinely concerned and wanted to make things right, which they did. 1 month update: The reply here said someone would reach out to me. So far nothing, although I did get a text asking if I would be available (a week ago) for someone to come out for an inspection. I replied I was available that week but Cooper's never again contacted me. I don't know what one has to do get get this company to fix what they failed to do at the initial installation and follow ups, but I do NOT recommend this company for any HVAC work at this point. Update: A year later and their service is lacking so they lost three stars. I have been trying to get Cooper's to fix the filter area ever since we had to replace the first filter a month after the initial installment. I've had them out at least once to address this with no fix except to give me a years worth of filters. Now they want to charge me $1400 to fix their improper placement that causes the filter to tear every time it needs to be pulled out to replace. Never mind it doesn't go in all the way properly either. For a $16,000 unit I expect it to work in every way!! In addition, I just had my final "free" check up and the tech failed to turn the outside breaker switch back on. No wonder my home has been blowing cold air during the cold snap! Initial review: Daniel was our service person when we needed an AC check. The response time was incredible (same day) and the work, information, and suggestions from Daniel were very helpful in making a decision to repair or replace. A most polite and enjoyable person, his customer service score is a 10! We were given enough information to make a comfortable decision within our budget.

I was sent two technicians, and both were skilled and wonderful. They were able to clearly explain what was wrong with my unit, and the different/best options to fix it. I was very pleased with their performance/service. Also, Mr. Jonathan Cooper was super wonderful in explaining and walking me through the financial parts of getting my new unit, as well as super helpful and kind. Made sure that while my family was waiting on the install we still had heat during the cold, by having his team drop off some portable heaters for us to use. That speaks volumes about the character of this companies people. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and kindness.
