The first time I used RR they were awesome. I decided that anytime I needed plumbing to call RR even though they’re expensive they come out quickly and seem knowledgeable. It’s hard sometimes to get people to come out to my area so knowing that a company will come out is important to me. I had RR come out a second time yesterday and they were horrible. They made a mess and left trash everywhere and one of the plumbers used the toilet and peed everywhere, on the seat and the floor it was disgusting. When they were done with the repairs to make sure the water was turned on, they turned the water on in the bathroom spraying water all over the drywall I just hung, the sub floor and wall joists and the back of the drywall for the kitchen. I ended up having to call a plumber again today because my toilet started leaking really badly overnight. I decided to call RR one more time to give them a chance to redeem themselves. The plumber who came out today was fantastic and did an excellent job. I’ll probably keep calling RR for plumbing stuff.

This company is HORRIBLE. DO NOT USE THEM. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT USE ROTO ROOTER! TOTAL SCAM. They sadly ripped off my elderly mom. She is 89, needed a new faucet that was leaking. She unfortunately called this company. They came out, left to get the cheapest most basic faucet, returned and installed this ugly outdated most basic cheapest faucet that cost $39 at Lowe's and charged her $800.00!!! No lie. They charged her $800.00 to install the cheapest faucet! And NO RECEIPT! They gave her no receipt! Like who does that!? If I could rate this company lower than one star I would. To take advantage of an elderly woman like this is criminal. She was robbed. There are plenty of other plumbing companies in Tallahassee. Stay away, far away from this one. 😞

The technician Steve that came to my home was very rude to me because I told him to wear a mask before coming into my home. He argued and went back and forth with me cussing me out telling me that he gets paid regardless if he comes into my home and fix my plumbing. Very unprofessional

Tim from Roto Rooter did an incredible job, when both my showers starting spewing up debris and muck in our new home. He came during late hours when no one else would; he was efficient, easygoing, trustworthy, and hardworking. Highly recommended especially when there are so many sub par plumbing companies around. 5 stars only bc there isn't a 6 star rating

This company did the plumbing in our new construction home. The bathtub was damaged, the tub faucet fell off and they would NOT honor warranty by simply reattaching. I'd recommend NOT considering this business in any plumbing work. They're horrible and proven dishonest

I had a fantastic experience with technician Steven Short. We had a clogged drain. He was personable, informative, and didn’t mind my hovering over him to chat while he worked in the heat. He came early, was quick & efficient, and exuded wonderful customer service. On top of everything-the price for the service was very reasonable. Thank you Steven for being the professional that you are!

Used RR in the past with no problems but this last time was a struggle. Called on weekend. Came out first thing Monday, they needed a part, so they Said give us a week for shipping. 1 week, nothing. 2 weeks call in and nobody has answer about the part, third week called daily and part still isn’t it and/or the tech was out that week. My renters sat for almost 3 weeks without hot water because of a that missing part. Another tech comes to service as part comes in. Wrong part and/or missing another part, need another order. I end up ordering direct from manufacturer. Arrived next day. So either they forgot to order part and lied about it or lost it in wearhouse. Either way, way too long to wait for a part. Another part of the water heater broke while waiting for the first fix. They came out and fixed it next day. Charged almost $60 for a $10 part, plus 2 hours of work ($250+) to replace a gate valve. LOL - Asked me to pay the bill without sending me an invoice (Friday). Called on next Monday asking for the invoice and the guy asks me “what’s the invoice number”… for real??? Finally get original issue solved after my renter called them daily. Quick to ask for payment but always have issues sending me an invoice first. doubt I’ll even see it beforehand and sure they won’t offer any discount for wasting our time. Terrible internal communication from techs and dispatch. Terrible communication to customer. Will not being using any more in the future.

Last year I got bids to replace a plumbing stack in a bathroom I was renovating. RR was reasonable, not the lowest but far from the highest. They did the work in good time and professionally. This Spring my main drain went out and David worked with me to save some money by doing the excavation myself. In August, my main supply line leaked and I had to call for a Leak detector to locate the leak. Once it was found, at the base of a 100 year old pine tree, Ben and Carson ran the new line around the tree roots. ASAP. Despite my positive experiences with RR, I hope I never see these guys again. But, if I need a plumber, these are the ones I will call.
