Review Summary

  • Positive: Many customers praise the plumbers (Lance, Alex, David, Richard, and Jeremy) for being knowledgeable, professional, timely, thorough, and courteous. They are appreciated for their efficient and effective work. Jeremy is specifically commended for saving a customer a significant amount of money.
  • Negative: One customer had a negative experience with the receptionist, citing unfriendliness and unhelpfulness. Another customer was dissatisfied with the chlorinator replacement, lack of warranty support, and the owner's (Jeremy) condescending attitude, despite the plumber (Alex) being courteous.
  • Overall: Bayshore Plumbing receives high praise for its plumbing services, but customer service and warranty support appear to be inconsistent.

The receptionist or whoever that makes appointments wasn’t even friendly enough to speak or give advice to me. She kept interrupting me and dismissed me. I had tried to be as helpful as possible by offering my landlords number since she couldn’t ’speak’ to me - so we could get the ball rolling , as I’ve had no HOT water for a week with a 15month baby at home. I super appreciate her declining to help in anyway, I told the person who recommended me here - not to recommend the place again. I would NEVER recommend them. The place I called right after these people, listened to me- took my landlords number, called them AND touched base with me ontop of getting my hot water handled same day. Next time don’t be so rude and you won’t turn away GOOD customers.

Business began from a referral, initial interaction was great. We brought Bayshore Plumbing in to replace a chlorinator for our well system after our other one stopped working and replacement parts could not be located. They researched and found another chlorinator, and in September replaced and we thought everything was good as we had a 1 year warranty. I personally check and add chlorine as needed, screw off the cap, easy you think…apparently not. There is a 2 part process to removing the lid that no one at Bayshore informed us of. Fast forward to February and the lid started leaking. Bayshore came out couldn’t find a replacement readily available, so they did a patch until the part could be found. One month later still no call, we call and they order the part. Today they came to fix the lid, replace the o-ring and charged over $300. I spoke directly with Jeremy, the owner, who is personally known to the party that referred me to Bayshore. He, Jeremy, was condescending telling me that Vitron wouldn’t warranty because the person checking the chlorinator didn’t know what they were doing. That is correct, that was me and I was not shown or given any materials at install to know any different. He still charged me for 1 hour service fee and the part ā€œand not a cent over for the partā€. According to him, that’s a deal as he should be charging for 2 one hour service calls. So much for a warranty and make sure you get the proper training and owner handbooks when they install something otherwise you may be on the hook for replacement. Two stars because initial interactions were positive, Alex the plumber who was here was courteous and respectful, however today’s interactions with Jeremy was not how a business owner should treat customers.

I called Bayshore Plumbing the Monday after Hurricane Helene looking for a gas plumber. They were recommended by Peoples Gas Company, my gas provider. Alex came out a few days later as my house was flooded due to Helene. He was excellent! He was very thorough, checked all of our gas appliances, made recommendations and wrote a report for our claims adjustor since two of our gas appliances were damaged. Bayshore Plumbing was a pleasure to deal with in a time of great stress! Thank you Alex and Bayshore Plumbing!

Lance is a rockstar. He was timely for the appointment and thoroughly explained the whole process to us. Very professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. I can tell he works hard on a daily basis. He was courteous and kept the area clean after the repair. Thanks for taking care of our plumbing issue, Lance!

We have relied on Bayshore Plumbing since 2008. They have always been competent, on time, effective and professional. David, who worked on a copper pipe fitting today and a bathroom issue did a great job. He's been here before and always a great job. Who knew? A person who can still brass a strong, leak proof joint on copper! Can you get the work done more cheaply? Maybe but, when Bayshore does it, I stop worrying because they do it right the first time. Can you get it done better? NO!

I scheduled with Bayshore late on Friday for a routine call and the plumber, Richard, arrived on time at 8:30 Monday. Richard worked quickly and accomplished a thorough evaluation of the plumbing system with just an hour. He was careful to complete the work quickly enough so that the work did not unnecessarily pass one hour. He diagnosed and mapped some "mis-plumbing" in a home we are considering (the primary purpose of the service). Also, within that hour he also tested the hot water heater, fixed a very small leak, and advised on other things which we should consider changing in the home. Professional, courteous, clear communication, careful and diligent.

I wish I could give them 6 stars! Jeremy was incredibly helpful. I had a quote from a different plumber for over $10,000 to replace all of the galvanized plumbing under my house. The other plumber even showed me a picture of a leaking pipe. Jeremy crawled under my house and confirmed that all of the galvanized pipes are disconnected and were just never removed during the prior renovation. Nothing leaking. He even fixed the water flow in my kitchen sink while he was here. He saved me $10,000 and I'm now a customer for life of Bayshore Plumbing!
