The Drain Surgeon

We called to schedule an inspection for an outside pipe we noticed might be backing up. Once we saw water in the basement related to the issue, we called back and they came out right away to take a look. They made a plan to fix the issue and solved the problem the next available day. We're so grateful they were able to swing by, give tons of valuable info, and solve the issue (and set us up to avoid the issue in the future). Really enjoyed them (super nice and friendly), and the price was very reasonable too. Glad we found this company and will definitely be calling them for all plumbing issues in the future.

I had a frustrating experience with The Drain Surgeon. They initially promised to complete the job in a day (maybe two), but it ended up taking over a week due to delays involving the city. Instead of handling the situation efficiently, they showed little urgency and failure to communicate—I had to reach out multiple times every day just to get an update. I know the city was involved and they also had a lack of urgency, but the lack of communication was awful. After finally finishing the work, they left the broken pieces of my concrete patio sitting for another week after promising they’d be out the next day. Unfortunately the tech who said this, their tractor needed repaired. Nobody informed me of that and you’re telling me there was only ONE tractor available to pick up some concrete pieces? Again, they promised multiple times to come clean it up but never followed through until I repeatedly contacted them. To make matters worse, it seemed like they started deliberately ignoring my calls. When I called from my personal phone, I got busy tones, but when I used my work phone or my wife’s phone, they answered. After I gave them my wife’s number, they started ignoring that too. While the actual plumbing work appears to have been done correctly, the complete lack of communication and follow-through makes it impossible for me to recommend this company.

Fantastic service we’ve come to know and expect! The Drain Surgeon team has done excellent work on our unfinished basement project and as we expanded the project they have been working with us along the way. I highly recommend them for any plumbing plans or services!
