We had John come out to diagnose, and then a day later, fix our water heater. He was so helpful and kind, and gave us alternative options to consider without the pressure of a purchase - which we ended up doing anyway and appreciated his expertise! Drake has always been great for our heating/ac and now we look forward to using them for our plumbing too!

I had an owner caused gas leaked that required a qualified plumber repair. I called Drake Mechanical late afternoon and was given an appointment the next morning. Our gas had been turned off by the gas company and was flagged for a whole home pressure test. The technician came out and quickly fixed the leak. However, the pressure test was witnessed by a tech from Intermountain Gas later in the morning. The test failed and Braliio spent the rest of the day in the crawl space and attics testing for leaks. No leaks were found, multiple retests were run with differing results. After much discussions the gas company, the two Drake employees convinced the gas company tech that the test was unrealistic stringent (test was at 80 times the normal operating) and allowed for no loss of pressure in 20 minutes. Many factors were reviewed like very cold temperatures, 40 mile/hour winds, and no Lab quality instruments were used to validate a loss. The experience and fortitude by Braulio and John finally convinced the inspector that there was no leak and the gas was turned back on after two days. I definitely would recommend Drake Mechanical for all plumbing needs.

Ben was our technician today. He performed a very thorough job on the initial inspection and service needs of our heater and air conditioner. Further, he spent time adjusting settings on the thermostat to optimize performance of this equipment. Great attitude and great work - Drake will be back! Turns out, Drake was back in November when our family woke up to no heating. Thankfully, Ben was the on call technician. As expected, he did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem, made needed part replacements. Drake's service is superb - highly recommend this company for all heating and cooling needs!

I had been using Drake for a number of years and during the last couple of years my furnace was periodically failing to light. Last year when one of their techs came to look at it he said that the electrical board was not telling him what the error codes were and didn't seem to be too alarmed. He cleaned it and it mostly worked fine for the rest of the season. At the end of December the furnace was still acting up and I wanted them to look at it again because the holidays were a week away. The same tech came and looked at it and said "the red light on the panel isn't on when it should be" and looked at other stuff and decided it was a $600 part that was the most likely cause - not the panel - and installed it. He got it to run and I thought it was fixed. Within 5 days the whole thing completely stopped working. I called for emergency help on a Saturday and was told they had no one available. So I called someone else. They tool a look, saw the same issue with the panel light, pulled the board off and found a big scorch mark. When I finally got a hold of someone at Drake I told them I wanted my money back from the repair they made. They said that because they couldn't come look at the furnace (before I had it replaced) that they couldn't verify anything. It worked for a few days after they left, so they were not responsible. If their tech saw the problem with the panel and then decided to replace something else, and it did end up being the panel, how is that not poor service???? They are supposed to be experts but can't put 2 and 2 together? Or admit when they did a bad job. Oh and I called to complain the day before my new system was supposed to be installed. 1- no one told me that I should have them come look at it to verify what I said 2 - they told me the owner would call me back but I had to wait two weeks and call them again. Her response: "Oh I guess you didn't get my message" right, like my cell phone doesn't have a call log showing me you never called.

I had a remodel project I was facilitating, that required multiple trips for Drake team to help with along the way. They were very flexible and accommodating to help complete the job of the course of a few weeks! It took a lot of stress out of what could have been a frustrating scheduling fiasco! John Kitson has been a superb representative of your company. We’ve had a recurring (not his fault) main drain problem that he has worked to repair, and on our behalf he’s lobbied for a tool that you will soon have and that hopefully will clear out a partial blockage in the old cast pipe leading from our home to a long drain line. John has been great to work with.
