Jan and his team are exceptional. Never have I felt this good about hiring a trades person. Not only were they the most competitive quote to replace our water heaters and redo some under sink plumbing, but they went above and beyond with their work (finding gas leaks, obtaining a special tool and coming back to fix the remaining leaks). I also had them jet clean our sewer and they did a fantastic job with that too - finding a broken pipe under the street and setting up a city inspection. I used Jan from Vanguard to repair and replace a couple plumbing fixtures recently. It became a very long day of repairs for him, as the job required more than we initially expected, and I'm very pleased with the results. It was a pleasure to work with Jan, he was upfront about his pricing, he guided me on which replacement items I'd need, he was very thorough in explaining the procedures he was using and why, and he also cleaned up well after he completed his work. I highly recommend him for home plumbing repairs/replacements.

Vanguard did an excellent job helping with a unique project that other plumbing companies were not able to solve. I was looking to convert my double basin sink to a single basin, and Jan was a huge help from the initial phone conversation, to connecting me with another contractor who could modify the countertop, to completing a clean and great looking install. Jan and George installed a new faucet, garbage disposal, and connected the remaining plumbing fixtures. They worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and left the work site clean. 10/10 would recommend for any plumbing work!

Vanguard is well known in our neighborhood for doing great work. I'll add on that - they are also wonderful at communication and follow up. We used them many years ago in a different location for some sewer work, and more recently had them in to help with a couple of tricky bathroom problems. It's so nice to have our bathrooms back in working order! We're planning our next projects with them as our preferred vendor and looking forward to working with this trusted partner.

Jan did an amazing job replacing my water heater. Jan was responsive, turnaround an accurate quote via pictures, was timely, and more importantly on budget. He also had the foresight to make adjustments so when my second water heater goes the install will go smoothly. I also have an older home so this is not a simple task and some plumbers would have taken short cuts.
