Mc Dougalle Water & Sewer Services

My issues with my sewer line is now resolved, that's a relief.

I highly recommend McDougalle Contracting, Inc. for water and sewer services!! The Company is extremely consciousness, has a strong work ethic, they are professional, and their attention to detail and getting the project done exceeded “all my expectations!” The company scoped my sewer lines and found the blockage which needed to be replaced. Mr. McDougalle explained the project from beginning to end. The quote provided underbid numerous competitors. I am so grateful and thankful to have been referred to the company from my brother. Highly recommend this company. I had a water leak in our water meter pit due to a burst yoke and our front yard and street were being flooded. Our water company would not shut the water off to the pipe that was leaking because it would have impacted our whole street. We called multiple plumbers who all told us that unless the water was turned off, they could not fix the issue and that they would have to excavate our front yard to repair the issue. I was given quotes to repair the issue ranging from 3 to 6 thousand dollars. When I called McDougalle, they sent a crew out to review the situation and within minutes I was told they could fix the issue without the water company turning off the water and without tearing up my whole front yard and at a fraction of the price other companies were quoting me. They did the job quickly, got the problem fixed, and saved me a lot of money. I almost never leave reviews for companies, but felt I had to do it here because they were a real life and money saver! *EDIT* I have left the original review up for posterity, but I'm updating this with a one star review. The reason is that less than two years since we had the waterleak in our water meter pit that McDougalle repaired, we experienced a second leak in our water meter. I contacted McDougalle about coming to fix it and they refused, citing other ongoing work. I called another Plumber who was able to come out and fix the issue. He told me that the water main pipe coming from the street had slipped out of the angle valve leading into our water meter because McDougalle had failed to secure the clamp. If McDougalle had secured the clamp, we would not have had any issues and I would not be out an extra $1,250.

If I could give these people a 0 I most certainly would. Mutiple issue's wrong that they REFUSED to fix. 1. Tore my driveway up 2. Cut power to an detached addtion of my home 3. Shotty work on water pipes just appearing after 2 year's of them doing the work. Contacted the owner/business multiple times & refused to fix now even answer phones. Phone calls of which I asked them to fix the driveway back to the condition they found it & electrical issues. Here I am 4 yrs into it had plumbing issues since them being contracted. JUST BEWARE OF HOW THESE FOLKS DO BUSINESS/HANDLED MY BUSINESS!!!

0 if at all possible this company is a joke. Shotty ass work & terrible people skills! Apparently they refuse to answer phone's after they've done work!! Go elsewhere...
