Zippy Drain

Nate Klippi and his helper are very professional, they arrived at our property within the same day of calling! They were able to clean our drain lines and show us how to prevent it from clogging again! They left the work area clean and went above and beyond checking our other sinks! I Absolutely recommend Zippy Drain to everyone!

We had a sewer back up in the basement from tree roots. Ian showed up within an hour with a fabulous attitude and got to work ASAP! There was absolutely zero mess from Ian doing his work in the basement. They were very busy but knew we couldn't use any water in the house so made time for us. SO APPRECIATED THE PROFESSIONALISM AND THOUGHTFULNESS!

UPDATED: 4/16/24 Johnny from Zippy called today. Asked me why I didn’t mention our lack of satisfaction until now, I let him know we let the ground “settle” per the excavator’s recommendation over winter and now that we know and are informed, I’m letting them know. Johnny then disputed my claim regarding the broken driveway, below, stating he pulled up Google Earth as of OCT 2022 and the driveway was already broken. It was cracked in that spot, and would have been a spot we could seal on our own prior to the damage inflicted. Johnny did not take any accountability for any of the complaints in our conversation so I ended our discussion. Unfortunately for Zippy, I have evidence of their damage to my driveway, too. Added below Oct 2022 from google earth that Johnny “cited” vs May 2023 driveway spot that my husband took a picture of the day of Zippy’s excavation. Downgraded review from 2 stars to 1 star for implying that we are lying. So for transparency, evidence added for the comparison photo. I had zippy come out for a sewer back up that ended up being a broken sewer requiring excavation and repair. The day the excavation occurred was in early May 2023. The men that performed this job came and did everything very quickly. When they finished the pipe repair and replaced the dirt, they did not compact the dirt at all. I asked them why the mound of dirt was so high in the yard and they said it would “settle”. I paid around $7k for this service on the spot and went about my day, though my husband and I thought it was incredibly odd. It is now April 2024, and this mound of clay/dirt absolutely has not settled. The men that were at my house that day did not perform the appropriate services to have my yard fill back in or even close to allowing it to settle. additionally, they broke my driveway while doing the excavation. Today my husband and I spent hours researching how to fix this ourselves, I could not last summer or fall due to shoulder surgery. We have been digging, raking, and watering all day and we still have a huge mound of dirt. This company lied to me, did not do their jobs appropriately, and took advantage of me being uninformed in the moment. Including pictures from May 2023 after work was completed (3 photos - broken driveway, big dirt mound day of excavation), October 2023 (Skeleton sticking out of grave) and today, April 13th after tirelessly working on this all day.

Seth was a great advocate for me with my insurance company. We had grease in our line and instead of just pushing a hole through it and let it solidify later, he got his scope out and made sure all the grease was cleaned out from access point through the main line. Highly suggest them if you need someone that isn’t just going to “open the line” and move on.

They just recently came out to a house I was looking at buying and we’re doing a drain inspection because there had been a history of some backups occurring at the property . There was 2 drains that they were supposed to look at one in the basement and one in the yard. My realtor expressed to them that there was one in the basement and yard, they ignored him and just checked the one in the yard. So they checked the one in the yard and they spray painted on LEAVES where the different parts of the drain line were. First time it’s a windy day all there markers will blow away and won’t know where they marked. Charged me $480 for it too to check 1 drain line that had super easy clean out access too, way too expensive and won’t recommend to ANYONE.

Ian Rupp was a great help in solving my drain problem that a previous technician did not! Personable guy and even sanitized everything after he was done for mine and my cats safety! Highly recommend!

Mike was able to come and unclog our sewer within just an hour after I put in a service request. He also explained what he did, thoughts on what it was and discussed options for future issues. I was receiving a new dishwasher same night from a different company who couldn’t install due pipes needing replaced. Mike was able to get me scheduled right away. Excellent customer service!

Mike with Zippy Drain was great. He was quick to identify the issue, left no mess when using his machines/tools and was incredibly thorough in making sure my drain issue was resolved by running several tests to confirm water was going down efficiently. He also gave me a lot of helpful information for maintaining my drain lines between services and made sure I understood possible next steps. I’ll definitely work with him again!
