Rooter Ranger

Extremely impressed with the level of service and professionalism! I called for a drain clog issue but once inspected it turns out it was more of a ‘user error’ on the tub valve. Since no work was performed, there was no charge. I was more than happy to pay but was assured that was the policy. I know this wouldn’t be the case with other drain companies in the area! I will definitely be using Rooter Ranger for any future issues and recommend to everyone!! Additional plus is they were able to come out same day.

After the initial shock of finding out we needed a whole new sewer system we were very satisfied with the way Rooter Ranger managed this project. Brian especially was very kind and professional to us. We did have a backup issue shortly after the project was complete. But Rooter Ranger responded immediately and flushed the system (left over sand/debris from pipe burst procedure). We have had no issue since and feel confident in their work because of their 15 year warranty.

Just don't. Not only was the trip a waste of time, but the guy offering to cut into my main drain to snake it out? I pulled the drain apart myself and rented out an electric snake auger from Porters and fixed my own issue. Weeks later I get automated responses asking about if the project is still on the table. I wasn't going to write a review but after these automated bullsh*t responses and replies, hopefully this review helps allow them to re-evaluate how they conduct better services and offers rather than offering expensive fixes for no reason.

Rooter Ranger is the best their employees are professional give you a detailed explanation of what the issue is, pricing and options. This was our second time having to use them and we will never go anywhere else for our plumbing needs. Thanks Rooter Ranger!

We booked and appointed and made it clear we needed someone to snake with a camera. Kid showed up that evening with no camera. Said he would snake it and fix the issue and come back in a few days so we would have to pay for two services and not just one. He left confident everything was good to go and said we were good to use the showers etc. Less than an hour later I went downstairs to check and we flooded again and worse than the first time. We then booked an appointment with Smith Sewer the next day and the tech Pat came out asap on New Years Eve morning WITH the camera we requested and fixed the issue completely and showed us with the camera that everything was cleared.

The absolute BEST customer service!! Rooter Ranger came quickly to an emergency and solved our problem. Helpful and affordable. Rooter Ranger will be my first call for any plumbing needs.

Terrible service. Called for emergency and was told technician would be there in a couple of hours. 7 hours later, a call saying they couldn’t make it but would be first in line the next day. Received a text next morning saying still couldn’t make it for awhile. Called someone else. If they’d been honest about it, I wouldn’t be so angry. Emergency and this is all the better they could do? This is the Iowa branch.

Was told I needed $20000 repair because sewer line was in danger of collapsing and needed to be replaced right away. I had another plumbing company run the same task and was told everything was ok but within a couple years it will need attention. Then my neighbors had repair work done by Rooter Ranger and they tore up my yard without even talking to me.
