Was working on an at home project and noticed mold behind a baseboard. Cut a section of drywall out to see the extent of the mold and called plumber to pin point leak. On top of the $75 service charge, was charged $150 for them to cut another hole and tell me the mold is dry and there is no leak. Not sure what other everyone’s idea of affordable is, but $225 to essentially do nothing feels like robbery to me. 3 stars because at least he was nice and professional.

Five stars for sure! We had an extensive leak in an exterior pipe that was tricky to locate, but they found it and fixed it promptly. Robert got us on the schedule quickly and his communication leading up to our appointment was excellent. I also appreciate that he took the time to show me exactly what was going on, where the problems were and how they were fixed. We definitely recommend making Speedway Plumbing your first call!

Highly recommend. We had a water heater issue and Robert Hicks got us taken care of so quickly and does things the right way. We truly appreciate his professionalism, prompt responses and follow up. Good / quality work seems hard to find these days… refreshing to know there are still people out there that are honest and do their job well.

Competence. Professionalism. Experienced. Those descriptions are rare these days for any Service Business that you hire. With Robert and his technicians, that Value Proposition is just for starters. He's not just a business owner, he IS THE BUSINESS; worthy of my 5++ score for being prompt, communicative, skilled, reasonably priced and, most importantly, a successful entrepreneur who understands and relates well with customers. Our master bath faucets were leaking and repairs seemed simple enough for a DIY'er; but..., my "hands on" initiative turned into a "hands off" nightmare when I scowered for unavailable parts for hours; resulting in retrofit escapades of making things worse. Speedway to our RESCUE! He came when promised and made the logical recommendation of total replacement for which I was prepared with a new, "economy" faucet kit on hand. The Pfizer model was scrapped and a Delta model replaced it. Not the quality a good professional would recommend; but, no gripes and it was quickly installed like thousands before. Don't bother with the franchises and large corporate owned fleets of employees for your plumbing needs. You'll be glad you read my recommendation and, relieved you hired this company for your needs.

Our hot water leaked on a Saturday, Robert came out within 30 min. and helped us resolve the situation until he could install a new heater on Monday morning we went ahead and had both our water heaters replaced since they were the same age, prompt friendly service, fair pricing, and a good customer service attitude.

I have used Robert Hicks, owner of Speedway Plumbing, for several years. I trust Robert and know he wouldn’t send in the wrong direction just for a buck. He is very dependable and the work done is great. My father uses him too. I would recommend this company to anyone.
