Keefe's Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical, Generator & Plumbing

In general I would recommend Keefe’s for your immediate needs repairs. It was slightly difficult to schedule an exact time, given their system of sending you a warning of about 45 minutes before arrival. And my message over the weekend seemed to be ignored about not being available at certain times. The phone system is archaic, the ringing sounds like it’s from the 80s and the echo when talking to the dispatcher was so bad I almost couldn’t stand it. Hearing my own voice back a second later and loud. Fix your phones! That being said, when Tyler arrived, he was professional, competent and pleasant. He did an excellent job in a reasonable amount of time. I forgot what city I was in for a minute! He even sent me photos of the completed work, as I had to leave, and as far as I can tell did an excellent job. I would recommend Keefe’s, at least for emergency work that you need done soon. The technical issues did not prevent them from doing the job we needed.

On Thursday evening 2/20/25 my HVAC went out on a night where the temps dropped to 30°. Having had some bad experiences with three previous HVAC contractors, I thought I would give Keefe’s a try after having gotten a couple marketing emails from them. When Latrease took my call she was polite, thorough, and even funny, and she asked all the right questions; remember, this is not my first rodeo. At this 8:30 AM call she gave a service time window of between 11-2, confirming that I would receive a message when the technician was about 15 minutes away. It wasn’t 30 minutes later I was texted that the technician was on his way—fully two hours before the estimated time. HVAC specialist Joey was attentive to my breakdown of the symptoms, and respectful of my analysis of the potential problem, even though I was wrong. He did not seem annoyed that I was watching over his shoulder in the attic the entire time he was here, and even that I was asking a lot of questions; I worked my way through college in hospital maintenance for six years so I appreciate the value of troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. You can’t fully see what he was pointing at in a couple of the images because a hot water heater and plenum box were in the way, but I got the gist of his educated and experienced analytical breakdown of the various components and the issue at hand. Throughout his analytical testing and then repair he explained what he was doing and why, possibly because he saw I wasn’t going to leave him alone, but nonetheless this gave me yet more respect for his and Keefe’s expertise. Finally, pricing for the call, repair (and he had the part with him), and service contract were extremely competitive based on my experience, so I will be referring Keefe’s and Joey to friends and neighbors when asked for HVAC referrals.

Donald was very thorough with checking everything and took his time. Provided me with the best options for my unit. I deeply appreciate him! And would call you guys again if need be. Literally best customer service ever. Also the woman I spoke with on the phone was very nice as well.

Joshua showed up quickly and was very professional. I explained the issues we had and he told how he was going to fix them and he did so within about an hour. I am pleased with the results.

We are very pleased with the overall service we received. David Dobbins responded within 24 hrs and we had an appointment scheduled the same day. He did a great presentation answering all questions. David was very personable and did follow ups to make sure we were kept up to date. At this point we are waiting to have the installation take place. We look forward to a long relationship with Keefe's. Since our initial meeting, the process for permitting took a little time because if the city office. Once the permit was received and installation date was scheduled immediately. The workers came out on the scheduled day and spent the day taking care of the installation! I have to add "it Rained ALL Day!" but they did not hesitate or stop even to eat lunch! They are the best crew! I hope you get them as you stall team! Can't wait to get the inspection and have the unit ready to go!

I was out of town when my ac went out and I had to handle everything on the phone while my oldest daughter, age 20, let them in for the handling of replacement and repair. They were extremely courteous and called me to keep me in the loop as to everything they needed to do, provided me with all of the options and ensured I was well informed. I got home to a cool house and happy kids. This was a much easier experience than I could have hoped for.

John , the Keefer's technician, arrived on time and went right to work servicing my air conditioner and heating unit. He appeared very efficient in checking my unit and cleaning the outside unit. He completed a summary of the work done and provided me with a written list of options to improve and protect my system. He was professional and courteous during the time he worked on my unit.
