Traina C T Plumbing And Mechanical

Our capacitor went out at some point yesterday evening. We called C T Traina as well as a couple others, but I'm slightly ashamed we didn't call C T Traina first. They came out less than 2 hours after we called, and had the capacitor replaced in no time. The 2 guys who came couldn't have been nicer, and they knew what was wrong immediately. In the dead heat of the summer, in New Orleans, during hurricane season, and they were still able to get us fixed up in no time while everyone else we called couldn't make it until next week. At 80 degrees in the house, we would have been miserable for nearly a week if not for C T Traina. Truly great service, and I'll likely be a customer for life.

I called this company when the pipe that my hose connects to broke, leaking water at a rapid pace. Someone arrived to fix it in about 30 minutes. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and did quality work. When the bill arrived, it was less than I expected. Overall, a very good experience.

I had water standing in my laundry area. Two plumbers came promptly. They checked the water heater and washer. They installed two faucets that I provided. They were neat and courteous. My bill was much higher than I expected.

I never write reviews, but I feel this company is unethical and consumers should know before being hoodwinked! We used CT Traina Plumbing for the first time for a stopped up toilet. Two guys came, one of them who did the job and the other in training, who just watched. It took 10 minutes. As they were leaving, they said the bill would not be very much because they had just finished a big job nearby. Today a bill arrived for $190.00. When I called the company to express my concern, I was told the job took an hour and a half, because travel time was added and a helper needed. To make sure I’m being objective here, I called a reputable plumber (Bourgeois) known to be good and Not cheap. They said (1) a stopped up toilet requires ONE worker, not two ( though the 2nd CT Traina guy did nothing except watch, and said he was “learning”), (2) their price is $119 for an hour or under, and (3) they charge less if they’re coming from a nearby job. Beware.

I had the most *wonderful* experience with CT Traina. It can be difficult to find people who always deal fairly with a young woman who is a homeowner. But the guys with CT Traina were amazing! Everything was explained and they were quick to offer friendly advice about how to prevent future problems. Brandon and his team came out and finished all of my repairs in three days (and I had a lot of repairs after that freeze). Communication was maintained at all times and they did their best to accommodate my work schedule. I would recommend them and their services to anyone and everyone who needs a plumber!

Truly professional plumbing, air conditioning and heating company. It starts with the leadership and flows down to the great employees. I have done literally hundreds of thousands of dollars of work with CT Traina. On time, great pricing. Small jobs, larger maintenance jobs of new construction. It's all the same to them. Quality is job 1.

We asked this company for a quote. I asked, how much does it cost for a quote? I was told there is not a charge for quotes. So why then, am I being charged for a quote which took all of 10 minutes?? The guy kept talking about nothing, and did not even have his tools with him when he performed the quote. And, if I had been told there would be a charge, then I would not have proceeded. Switch and bait tactics. LIES. Let me say this company lies on the regular. They told me they would come out one day and waited all day and never showed up. Call back again to see where they were and the guy comes by and is here for 10 minutes and is billing me for $190 "service call". There was no service, we asked for a quote (which they said was free) and we had to call them multiple times for the quote. Them not showing up or even calling to say they were going to be late should have been the first red flag. When we told the guy what we wanted he just kept going on and on about it, so basically running up his time. Horrible business practices and dishonest. No, do not use this company for anything. If they lie and try to steal such a small amount, imagine what they will do for any sizeable job. Lies, lies and lies. I will be contacting the BBB and possibly the tv stations about their dishonesty. Trash.

Dependable and professional. Always able to come in a reasonable time when a problem unexpectedly occurs. Calls when they are on the way, which is a plus, so you are not wasting a work day siting and waiting. Thank you for your great service and I will continue to use and always recommend your services.
