The guys at Hughes were wonderful!! They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, hard-working, and easy going. A real estate friend/neighbor recommended them to me and I am very pleased. I will 100% recommend them to others and definitely use them again. They didn't pressure me and took time to explain everything. At the end, they cleaned everything up and it looked great. I got a new (gas) furnace and a water heater, installed a register, and removed the ancient oil tank.

This Company was the best. They converted an oil furnace to a Heat Pump. Also replaced my central air unit. Chad Hughes (not related to the owner) and his team were absolutely excellent! I also had a major clog in my tub and once again Hughes Mechanical saved the day again!!! Many thanks to Mike and Aaron. Their expertise in the plumbing end of the business is excellent! Both were very nice and professional. I think all three need a huge raise!!!

Update 9/27/24; I wanted to update to reflect the fact that I've now learned that this install was done a little sloppy. The safety shutoff for the new condensate pump was not wired into the system so this could have caused major problems if the pump failed and leaked water all over my basement and HVAC system. Luckily, it's within their labor warranty window, so I emailed and they promptly came and remedied the issue. Just a word of warning because I would never have caught the issue had I not had an HVAC service from a separate contractor, who pointed out the issue to me. Good install today. Work was completed quickly and the crew cleaned up the area well. The system will hopefully run much more efficiently than my previous 30 year old model. My only concern is the location because the unit is much larger than the previous model and the new location is over the drain line of my sump pump. It’s a tight space so not many options. The techs have assured me the unit is safe where it’s at so hopefully that works out.

This is my second time using Hughes, Mechanical LLC. I called them yesterday about my water heater leaking. I asked them how soon they can get here to replace it. And they said they would be there tomorrow by 10 am. Two of their employees Mike and Aaron arrived a little earlier this morning which was great. Both of these men, we're very polite and extremely knowledgeable of what they are doing. I've had other plumbers here in the past but Hughes Mechanical is top of the line. I won't go anywhere else. I met this company’s project manager at the the Timonium Home and Garden Show and discussed my hot water tank heating issues. He suggested a flush (which had not been done since its install) so I called and scheduled an appointment. Patrick called just prior to arrival (which I appreciate) and after a lengthy discussion about potential technical problems I decided to go with the flush. Patrick was extremely professional, engaging and thorough in conducting the flush. I’m responding to this survey before the tank has fully heated back up and the sediment has settled. I’m hopefully confident by the end of the dat the hot water tank will be working optimally. I guess if I don’t follow up it is! Based on three interactions with this company (including Kayla in the office) I would recommend Hughes Mechanical for future work in our home. Thanks, again, Patrick, Chad and Kayla.

Wow, where do I start. Had Mike here to run a video camera to check our pipes alittle over a wk or so ago. Found out it was our toilet we had installed by some other company bk in Sept. It flushed but not a strong flush, since it was fairly new we told Mike we would try it for awhile, but would no doubt be calling him bk to replace it. Well Mike just left after installing a more powerful flushing toilet. That guy is amazing. He also changed the guts in our downstairs toilet, while he was here. Do you know how scary it is knowing you have to call a Plumber! I spoke with Jason when I called to get Mike out here to install the new toilet. When he quoted me the price I couldnt believe it. These guys are so reasonable with their pricing. They are top notch. So impressed with this company.

I noticed many of my neighbors had chosen Hughes for their HVAC work, so I wanted to give them a shot when I realized my HVAC needed maintenance. Patrick G and his associate were prompt, kind, attentive, and easy to work with. Patrick took the time to explain everything they were doing for my HVAC inspection, and made sure to address all of my other concerns. They were able to quickly and throughly complete the work I requested same day. I am glad I found Hughes, it’s important to have a local HVAC business that you can trust!

We have had the unfortunate luck of two plumbing situations just before the holidays. Each time I decided to have Hughes Mechanical Heating and Plumbing locate and repair the problem of water leaking behind walls I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. The team was quick , efficient and the price was attractive. Finally found the plumbing company I will always call on when needed. Did a fantastic job each time. Use them, you’ll be glad you did.
