Pat was excellent: fast, efficient, same day, cleaned up when done! Gave me an estimate over the phone to unclog 2 drains. Unrelated to the clogged drains, my top-loading washing machine had failed with a tub full of water: He pulled out his vac and drained the washer's tub. He also took time to look at 2 drain issues I was concerned about. No extra charge for draining the washer's tub or for the advice. Highly recommend!

I called 4/8/2021 and got the calling service that dispatched me out to the Matt who returned my call (within an hour), and was very professional over the phone and was able to schedule me in for the next morning 4/9/2021! Patrick came to my house and he was through, and communicated everything very detailed, but in a way I could understand. He also cleaned up after he completed his work! I called late on a Wednesday night after we discovered our sink drain was clogged and Pat was able to come to our house and fix it by noon on Thursday. He was friendly, efficient, and super helpful with giving us advice on how to avoid clogging the sink again (rice evades our sink trap and can accumulate, who knew). I highly recommend using the Drain Guy!

Our shower drain clogged and my partner was calling all the plumbers in the area to try to get it fixed. The drain guy called us back and let us know that it’s probably just frozen due to the extreme cold we had. The other plumbers were pushy about scheduling and requiring payment up front but the drain guy was very kind and reassuring. He will be the first I call the next time we have a problem. I highly recommend.

Matt and his excellent crew have helped me out on several occasions. I'm a plumber on the Cape and I have several clients that have multiple properties, many of them in the boston area. I can't always get to those properties, so I've used The Drain guys. They are always responsive, do a great job, and my clients have always been happy with the service. Extremely satisfied with service. I called about a clogged tub drain in the afternoon and Matt was here the following morning. Friendly and professional, he first took a look at the pipes and tub trap from the basement to see if there was any visible problem. We have old pipes in our house so I appreciated him being up front that the process to clear them out may cause them to leak if they are already in rough shape (our pipes were already dripping from time to time). With that he quickly got to work and successfully cleared out the drain, and then immediately checked the basement to see if there was any leaking down there following this. There wasn’t and the tub drains like new. Very thorough, explained things clearly, I would definitely recommend. Thank you Matt!
