Thompson Plumbing

I had heard of James Thompson Plumbing & Heating from my local fb page and had heard good things locally. I reached out and set an appointment for general cleaning/tune-up of my boiler. They were really great, nice and very informative giving me tips and future maintenance. I would gladly use them again!

High quality service. We found ourselves with no heat and in need of a new system in the middle of a negative degree cold spell. They were fast to respond, honest, polite, thorough, made the process easy. Highly recommended.

Wonderful company. They called me back 5 minutes after leaving a message for a leak in my basement main waste line. Came next day for emergency fix with reasonable price, very educational and nice people.

Thompson has been our go-to plumber for a while now! They have fixed a major leak in our wall, replaced a water heater, as well as several smaller jobs over the past few years. They never fail to be prompt, throughout and wonderful to work with. They are also reasonable price wise for the turn around time and quality of service. Finally, they are all just the nicest. From giving me time updates so I can plan naps, wearing masks to protect my medically complex daughter, to allowing my son to “help” then fix the sink and explaining every step of the process to him, every interaction with this team has been lovely.

Thompson did a great job with my laundry and sink. They were very reasonably priced. They were great to work with and helped me figure out the best way to accomplish what I wanted in my old house. Joey always responded to my messages promptly and answered all my questions thoroughly

I called them to do some basic electrical work, they said they would be out the same day and would call before heading over. They stated it was $149 diagnostic fee which they charged me immediately - my card was charged by the time we were off the phone, but the email receipt I received was for a subscription to "Premium Home Services" which is a company with an F rating on BBB. No call/no show that day. I called back at 5:30 pm and they said they would look into why no one contacted me, after 5 min. on hold I hung up and called back, asked them if they could go out the next day, they confirmed they would and would call before heading over. Next day, no call/no show again. I called back and asked for a refund and said I would find someone else. No explanation or apology or attempt to make things right.

Well, we needed them. They came, conquered and took my check. It was a bit more$$ than I wished but we needed them...immediately. all know this kind of story. Would I recommend them? Sure, competency is obvious. Does one have the luxury of time for plumbing services? 99.6% of the time, no!

Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I had my water heater replaced and they made it the same day. Fair prices for their services and they'll install water heaters bought at Home Depot or Lowe's, and can advise you on better options. Absolutely plan to hire them again and highly recommend their service!
