Kiko just finished going out 100 ft to clear our main line. He was very friendly calling us to let us know he was coming. He was workmanlike and willing to stay until the problem was solved. Great experience for us!!

They cleaned our bathtub drain. Gave a very fair price and didn’t charge a diagnostic fee.

This was the first time we had ever used the Drain Doctor and have nothing but good things to say about them. Both our kitchen sinks and bathroom sink were backing up and the water would not recede. I called Drain Doctor say approximately 10:30 am and the gentleman that answered was polite and professional. I explained our issue and he said he would have someone out between 12 and 2. At 11:50 am David from Drain Doctor showed up . He was friendly and extremely informative telling my husband what happened and how he would take care of it. He explained everything he was doing to my husband. He was at our home for approximately an hour and our problem was solved. He stayed a bit to run the faucets to make sure everything was good. It’s always so easy to complain about a company and their service but many times the good services are overlooked so I thought I would commend them on a great job. Thank you David and Drain Doctor!

Bad customer service. Our water heater burst at 3am. I searched for 24/7 emergency plumbers and they came up and were the only ones to answer in the middle of the night. I told the dispatcher the entire situation and she said she was dispatching it. My husband stayed up for over an hour waiting to get a call and didn’t hear anything. He called back and she dismissed him and said she hadn’t gotten anyone yet. At 9:30, I finally got a text from someone saying they don’t do water heaters, which is fine, but I’m not sure why their dispatcher wouldn’t just tell us that?? We lost even more sleep than we should have just waiting on them to not even be able to help us, just a bad customer service experience.

I had one of the worst experiences with a technician from Drain Doctors yesterday. Our condo building was having a drain backup issue. Service to Drain Doctors was called and we were told that the technician would arrive between 3-5 pm. But the technician arrived 2 hours late at 7pm. Although he was complaining his working schedule, toxic air in our basement and other stuff unrelated to us, we listened quietly and were ignoring whatever he was saying until he showed his anger towards me. I was standing there. Here was something (a part) he said to me" get out of my way"; "I have 10 years of experience, I know what I am doing"; so on and so forth He was rude and arrogant and I was pissed and shot him back: If you knew what you are doing, the problem would have been solved. The problem was not solved because he said he didn't have the equipment!

Called them with an issue where the toilet waste discharged into the tub. They immediately gave a fair quote and had someone on the scene within 20 minutes of the call. It ended up being a simple fix and they didn't charge. Amazing service, will definitely use them again when needed! Thank you!!

I wish I could give a better rating. My husband had always recommended this team to the houses in Somerville he worked with. We had an issue with backed up plumbing and they did come to clean the lines and what we thought was fixed wasn’t. A couple of days later sewage came out of a line they opened into our basement. They blamed the city, we had the fire department come out and it wasn’t them. My husband then had to have their guys come out again to not only still not fix the problem but leave raw sewage in our basement and threaten to charge more for another call. Seriously, call a real company that completes the job. So upsetting.

Always great to have someone with a pleasant voice and kindness that answers the phone to a business and Sandy had both. Stevie had to go next door, downstairs at the pizza shop to drain our conjoining drains. He was professional and efficient. He explained everything that was going to happen. Hopefully in 6 months when we need them again, he will be the one we get. Stevie and Sandy's customer service is a 10! If you need help with your drains... call the Drain Doctor.
