I can’t say enough good things about Paul C. Scott & Sons Plumbing! I had to get both my sump pump and my water heater replaced. From start to finish, the service was top-notch. Earl and Josh were the technicians who came out, and they were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, and took the time to explain everything they were doing. Their workmanship was excellent, and they made sure everything was done right the first time. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they were also friendly and respectful of my home, cleaning up after the job was finished. Earl and Josh exceeded all expectations. If you need plumbing work done, I highly recommend Paul C. Scott & Sons Plumbing—especially if you get the chance to work with Earl and Josh!

Talented Techs! The 2 techs (Earl and Josh) that came out to replace our old water heater were great for so many reasons: they explained the water heater removal/new water heater installation process; showed me the mild corrosion in the old valves and installed new ones; brought the ventilation system up to Code; and very thorough in everything they did through team work! Earl and Josh were efficient, friendly, educated in their trade, and true professionals! I highly recommend the team at Paul Scott Plumbing!

Sump Pump Superstars! Our old sump pump clanked and clunked every time the water drained. Once the techs arrived and looked at the old pump, they noticed the check valve was installed incorrectly and explained why this caused the sump pump to run often and make loud clunky noises around the clock. Once the new sump pump and quiet check valve was installed, it was so quiet and was not running nearly as much. The techs knew what they were doing, explained the process, were very clean with their work by laying tarps down protecting my floor, and were very kind and professional. I highly recommend Paul Scott & Sons Plumbing!!

This company was the best. When I had a problem, they were able to come out within 24 hrs and diagnose it. Once diagnosed, they were able to get the permits and equipment to fix it within a few days. The crew were very pleasant, professional and worked quickly. They completed the work as described and left the property in excellent condition. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Very expensive!! The plumber spent 3 hours total and charged $780! He fixed 2 leaky bathroom valves and opened a clogged faucet. He had to wait for an hour for his headquarter to drive a part for him as he did not have it with him. Otherwise it would have taken about 2 hours to finish the job. The labor charge alone was $175 per hour ($525 for 3 hours)! He then told us that he believes that our tile pipe that leads to the sump pump must be blocked and he could flush it open for $300. After he left we had it checked and it was not blocked at all.

BEWARE! My 80 year old Father hired this company for a water in his basement issue… They took him for $10,000 & DID NOT fix a thing… still has the exact same problem! SHADY

Three primary reasons for my low-rating: (1) Extortionary pricing - they have a standard (excessive) rate as Service Call charge, on top of which they will push a standard (excessive) hourly rate, irrespective of whether any work is done or not. As an example, we had their plumber over and - after his inspection (which took less than 30 minutes) - we decided that the work was not worth the amount being quoted. We cleared the Service Call charge immediately and said farewell. Lo and behold, they send another invoice in 10 days asking for the standard one-hour labor charge despite the plumber not doing any actual work and being on-site for about 25 minutes. (2) Rude attitude - on the day of the call, I made a phone call with their office about the job. The interaction was unprofessional and disrespectful. (3) Unethical behavior- we had clearly discussed with their office and their plumber about the total amount owed - which was the Service Call charge. This was immediately paid. Despite the clear understanding, they behaved unethically by sneakily sending out another invoice for the standard hourly rate. I am not in a position to comment about the quality of their service, since I did not let them do any actual work.
