Jim replaced our 1964 galvanized drains that we'd been "cleaning" (fighting) for years and water has never flowed as well as it does with new drains. He took the time to show me the garbage that was clogging the pipes. It looked like he was never here afterwards. Fantastic experience all around. It feels rare these days to find someone that just delivers on what they say, and Jim delivers in spades!

How Jim could have gotten a review less than five stars is beyond me. He removed a water softener, capped it off, and installed a back up system for our sump pump. Jim was efficient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Never once tried to upsell. He cleaned up after himself and his work is just immaculate. His rates are more than reasonable (please just throw these guys an extra $20 when they are private and charge a fair price) and we already have a list of other projects for him and he has barely walked out the door. These are the sorts of trades people we want to support! So impressed with his work.

When a do-it-yourself weekend toilet repair led to a leaking broken valve on the feeder line, we knew we had to hire a professional. Z's Plumbing was mentioned repeatedly as a recommendation by neighbors on a community Facebook group. We called first thing on Monday, praying for an opening in the schedule. Jim responded within twenty minutes, asked for a photo to help assess the situation and was able to work us in that morning. The reviews here and on other sites are not kidding: Jim was punctual, professional, conscientious ("Do you need me to move my van out of your driveway so you can get out? Should I take my shoes off inside?") and great at clearly explaining things. Cost? At first we thought his quote was for parts only. Nope! It was the whole job...which was completed VERY efficiently. Wow. We came out of a leaking wet mess with a positive experience. (If you've got to have a stranger in your bathroom early in the morning, let it be Jim!)

Remodeling our walkout, upon removing the old suspended ceiling, we saw that the pipe running across the family room was ‘below’ the floor joists so that it was in the way of putting in the new ceiling. Jim / Z’s Plumbing came out and looked at it and suggested exactly what I was hoping they would. They installed pex pipe and made sure it was above the floor/ceiling joist level so we could properly install the new sheetrock ceiling with knock-down texture. They were fast/efficient and professional and very nice from the beginning. I ‘am’ using them again ;) (I have another plumbing issue now - the thrills of a house built in the 70’s) The last picture shows the old pipe that had a bent sheet metal piece to capture potential moisture/etc. This was sticking ‘below’ (see second picture) the level the ceiling needed to be at, so I removed the metal and Jim/Z’s installed the new pex as you can see in the first picture. The last picture is the room now with a finished ceiling :) Their work was GREAT!! Update - We had Jim / his team redo our bathroom plumbing this year for a remodel and they did an awesome job again as expected :) I added pictures of the work we had to have them do to get the bathroom plumbing updated for a roll in shower per current code. He also replaced all of the copper with pex in the suspended ceiling on the first floor below the remodeled bathroom. He is always pleasant / friendly / thoughtful, the work is great!! I wish I could add this as another review, but it only lets me append it to my old one The last two pictures are of the master bathroom we just had remodeled and Jim&Chuck installed the vanity, toilet, and shower fixture. As with the other work they have done, it was PERFECT and looks gorgeous :) Chuck came up with an innovative way to plumb the vanity so that we didn’t have to cut an extra hole, and he completed his work quickly and excellently! They are the ONLY team I would ever want to hire for my plumbing.

I called at 8:00 AM about a leaking tub. He w as here around 9 and promptly fixed problem. Really appreciated being worked in to his busy day! Also fee very reasonable. Thanks again!!

I had Jim come out today to replace my double kitchen single with a single-drain kitchen sink, as well as unclog my upstairs bathroom sink. Jim did amazing and he was very polite and respectful, even asking if he should take off his shoes (in my experience, most don't ask that, they just come in like they own the place). Jim was also much more affordable compared to other quotes. I highly recommend Jim/Z's Plumbing and will be using him in the future again when/if the need arises.

Z's plumbing was in the area and was very kind to squeeze a small plumbing project into his day. Great communication and far cheaper than I expected. Very nice guy and I would highly recommend!

I worked my self into a corner putting in a new water softener and had to call in a pro. Jim worked me into his busy schedule and had me up and running in no time. Professional, efficient, and friendly—not to mention fair pricing—what more could one ask for?!
