Soderlin Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning

We love Soderlin! We worked with Jeff Johnson on the replacement of our original 100+ year-old boiler during December and everything went perfectly. Existing boiler was removed, and asbestos abatement occurred during 3 hours on Saturday morning, then the new boiler was installed over about 5 hours on Monday morning. Powerful space heaters were provided for the weekend and the house stayed plenty warm. The new boiler is small and quiet, and we feel like we got a great price. Communications and coordination were smooth and everyone at Soderlin was wonderful to work with. In particular, Jeff and Lisa were fantastic. I confidently recommend Soderlin and look forward to working with them again in the future!

We have used Soderlin Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning for the past 25-30 years for everything from annual maintenance for our air conditioning system to installing new water heaters and heating systems. For major work we always get 2-3 estimates and while some estimates are less expensive, we have always chosen Soderlin due to their experienced professionals and terrific work. Two years ago, we discovered on a Saturday morning a flood in our basement. Turned out we had a cracked tubing in the water line to our refrigerator, that had occurred during the night. The office told us how to turn off the water to the house, a plumber was at our house within the hour, identified the problem, and helped us in getting mitigation folks to the house to start mitigation and finally the repairs. To sum it up, Soderlin Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning gives us fantastic service and peace of mind.

The plumber arrived at the early end of the expected time. He described how the faucet had deteriorated and explained the repair. He replaced the faucet assembly quickly, and we've had no trouble since. He was polite, cheerful, and efficient. We've always had great service from Soderlin.

Jeff is friendly, timely, and great at every plumbing issue I have had. The leak was fixed and faucet looks amazing.

Shady business practices. When we scheduled, and agreed to pay 70 bucks just for someone to come out and look at it, they failed to tell us about their $670 flat fee, even though we told them it was just replacing one small part. They gave the impression it would be an hourly rate. The website says nothing about a flat fee. The guy who came out said it would be less than 30 minutes of work for him, but whether he was there for 15 minutes or all day, it would be $670. Total bait and switch. EDIT: I had edited this review to express disagreement with statements in the response from the owner, and further frustrations after talking to him on the phone, but I'm now deleting those additions. I stand by what I wrote above, but life is too short to give this any further fuel.

There are Plumbing companies and then there is Soderlin Plumbing. Plumbing repair and new build installation is expensive, the point is not to try save every dollar you can by going with a cheaper quote, the point is to have the plumbing company do what you want done and to be confident with it when it's done. They have done it again! Soderlin has been to my 110 year old home for various jobs over the years. They recently fixed my leaky faucet with prompt, friendly service and fair pricing. I appreciate that they give an exact cost once they see the job rather than using an hourly rate scale. Will use again and again.

We have used Soderlin for many years for all our plumbing issues. Jeff is an extremely knowledgeable person who can look at a problem and analyze what needs to be done. He is also very efficient. We recommend them highly.
