AJ Alberts Plumbing

After my 20 years old water heater took a dive, I had to make many calls around the Metro Area to find a company to replace mine. AJ Alberts was able to get a plumber out to me within a few hours. Matt D was my plumber, he quickly diagnosed the issues, gave me an estimate, and recommendations. I decided to go with AJ Alberts for the replacement service. Matt came back the next day to install the new water heater. He was on time, efficient, and cleaned up the whole area. He installed the new water heater, replaced the copper hoses, and new pipes for the air vent. Very happy with the service provided. You really do get what you paid for.

I had a water softener replaced by AJ Alberts Plumbing, and they did a great job! Communication was excellent. They called back quickly, within an hour, when I initially called to schedule service. They were able to schedule a service appointment within a week. The service technician arrived on time and communicated well. Laz was very kind and respectful! He completed the water softener removal and install in a timely manner, and he cleaned up after! I would definitely recommend AJ Alberts Plumbing.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and communication excellent. Tyler is professional and kind. We talked about different options as needed. He went above and beyond- even remembering to close the baby gate behind him. That is not expected but definitely appreciated! Everything looks great and is in working order. Thank you :)

I have used AJ Albert’s over a span of 15 years and I always feel I am getting great service. They are trustworthy and will always educate you and show you what they are fixing. I recently had my hot water heater go out and they were able to send a tech out to fix it promptly. I have shopped around and have used other companies over the years but AJ by far is the best.

I hired AJ Alberts because of the high star rating, but I will not use them again. I’ve had them out for basic service twice (different plumbers) and each time they’ve had to come back a second time because they didn’t take a few extra minutes (5-10) to make sure their work was done correctly. The first service call in July was to replace the strainer basket in the kitchen sink because it was leaking into the cabinets below the sink. After the plumber had installed the new one and left, it clearly had a small leak and he had to come back a day or two later and spent less than 10 minutes finishing his sloppy work. More recently in January I had someone come out to install a new kitchen faucet, since it wasn’t working well and was leaking water underneath into the cabinets. He commented that he thought the model I had chosen was a good one. I noticed that after he cleaned up his tools and came in to do his final inspection, he seemed to notice that the cabinets underneath the sink were damp, so he took off his coat to wipe it up. I should have questioned him on that, but a few minutes later he said it was good to go. It was not. Before putting things back under the sink I could tell that there was a small drip happening when the faucet was running. When he was sent back a few days later he worked on it for about 10 minutes and declared that the faucet was the problem. (cutting out the frustration of calling the manufacturer and thinking about another plumbing appointment to put in another new faucet). But over the course of the next few days, it was clear the plumber had actually fixed the faucet. So he tells me it’s good to go; it’s not. Then he tells me it’s not good, but it is. I don’t want plumbers that require two visits for every basic fix and I can’t trust what they tell me.

I reached out to AJ Alberts for a plumbing fix at my small business. The person I spoke with on the phone was extremely friendly and forthcoming as far as cost of the service call. When the technician arrived, they worked quickly and were very informative regarding what was wrong and how it was fixed. I would highly recommend their services and will be reaching out again for any future needs.

I can't say enough good things about my experience with AJ Albert's Plumbing! I highly recommend their services. I had a leak in my kitchen sink return line which was located underneath my finished basement floor. James came out and gave me a an estimate and patiently answered all of my questions. He also noticed that the venting in my bathroom plumbing wasn't correct. After receiving multiple bids, I decided to go with them because of the experience I had with James. He's a Master plumber and he understood the potential complexity of the job. I received two other bids: one was similar in pricing while the other was significantly higher and it didn't sound like they had a ton of experience breaking through tile/concrete to fix the leak. They showed up the day and time that they said they would. They have a text and email notification system for appointments which I appreciate. When they dug and located the leak, they took the time to explain what was happening. Unfortunately the bottom of the cast iron pipe had completely disintegrated and they couldn't find good pipe to connect to. After a lengthy discussion, we decided to replace the entire line from the wall to the sewer line and I'm so thankful that we did! There was over 12 feet of pipe that was rotted and another 8 that was severely damaged. James also gave me an updated estimate before additional work was done. It was significantly more than the initial bid but that was to only cover up to 5 liner feet. We ended up replacing three times that amount. They patched the concrete and cleaned up after themselves really well. The other big thing that I appreciated was the fact that when we realized this was going to be a much bigger project than originally expected, instead of saying they'd be back in a few days or even next week because they were booked, they were able to work with the front office to rearrange the other projects so they could finish the work in my home. They were here for three full days and I couldn't be happier with the work they did. Believe the 4.9 Google ratings because they are great! Great communication, fair prices, expert plumbers, finished the job quickly, and really nice guys (James and Luca).
