I had JE Redington replace an expansion tank on my hot water heater. The tech, Henry, was professional and did good work. When I first got the invoice, I had to contact them as some of the items didn't seem right. Fortunately, they were willing to work with me to resolve the issue.

DISRESPECTFUL to me. I live in a condo and just had a leak repaired by another plumbing company a week ago. Two J E Redington plumbers just came to my door as they are inspecting multiple leaks in the building. They said they wanted to come in my unit as they said leak is from my unit. I proceeded to tell them that I had repairs just done.. and tried to ask them some questions about what they were seeing in unit below. As I was going to call my licensed plumbers that were just here last week to repair my line. They would not give me a straight answer. The two of them kept cutting me off when I was talking. Then they walked away, both of them shouting at me and then banged on the door in the unit below and said I was extremely volatile because I would not let them in my unit. They were so loud I could hear what they were saying to my neighbors They were rude and unprofessional. JE Redington plumbers clearly do not understand that allowing them to start messing with the work I had done could cause my guarantee to be null and void! All they needed to do was answer my questions so I could inform my licensed plumbers what they saw in the unit below and have my plumbers look at my unit. I have never been so disrespected and talked to in that way by any contractors in my life. They don't even deserve one star.

I just had the most disappointing interaction with them. I've been using them for 30+ years, but when I called to try to make a service appointment I had to leave a message, then call back when nobody returned my call. I then spoke to someone I had never encountered before, and who was quite rude, actually. They were scheduling 3 weeks out, and evidently don't have anyone for emergency calls. When I explained that my need was immediate, and and asked if she could recommend someone I might call, she said "no" and abruptly hung up. I guess their business is so good the don't need repeat customers, as they certainly lost one today. (Owner's reply says I have an unpaid balance, but I'm not aware of one, cannot find any notice of this, nor was this brought up in the call. And the person I spoke to was abrupt and rude, imo)

We have an older house with a leaking drain from the upstairs toilet. Three top-rated plumbers in the area came to look at the problem but never gave us an estimate or called back. Redington sent a supervisor in a few days. He identified the leak quickly, told us exactly how they could fix it and gave us an estimate. Their plumber showed up a few days later and fixed a difficult leak in about 6 hours with minimum inconvenience, at reasonable cost, and below the estimate. Highly recommended.

Good estimate, on time for the bid and the installation of our water heater. The technician that installed the water heater was friendly, knowledgeable and happy.The office staff is responsive, friendly and kept us aware of any schedule changes. We are happy with J. E. Redington Plumbing and will be calling them for our next plumbing task.

Affordable, on time, and very knowledgeable and professional company. I highly recommend.

I needed a plumber to come to my animal hospital on an emergency basis but couldn't find anyone available. Despite being busy, Redington sent a plumber by right way to look at the situation. (I guess they could hear my anxiety, lol). The problem turned out NOT to be as big of an emergency as I thought. While they couldn't repair the problem that moment understandably, they did come back later the same day to follow up. Both of the men I interacted with were very professional and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend!

Great service and in a timely fashion. My water heater went out a few days before Christmas and they were able to get one installed around my schedule as I was leaving town for the holidays. Also, they noticed a few other issues with pipes once they were in my basement and fixed those without upping the quoted price. Happy customer here!
